I've never read a book like it, where the pureness of love and devotion is so intense; it's incredible. The yearning of wanting one another all the time, never satisfied until together. This whole book has that burning and add in the innocence of Angel and his red tipped ears and it is just pure love. Angel is described by Rhys as a teddy bear, and he means this by his demeanor and looks. He is the opposite to his construction worker stereotype. Some fun kinks came as a surprise and added another dimension to their relationship.  I don't think any of their filmed sessions were ever for anyone else but these two  never any pretence. They were focused only on one another, nothing was staged, all raw and real. Uncorrupted feelings, Angel's eyes are opened to a whole new world and he embraced everything, using his new found feelings as permission to have what he wants and needs. Lots of sexy lingerie which always ups the temperature.
I needed this book to be twice as long, I couldn't get enough of the dopamine released from reading this. Such an amazing series, every one has been a 5 star read. I can't wait for Hayden's story next. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Can't believe we are on book 6 of the Divorced Men's Club and this ends the series with a heavy heart where all is settled and love is brimming. This story was never about falling out of love, these two had so much love for one another it kept the heart beating all the way through.  It's hard to believe their marriage didn't make it, but communication had let them down. There is a blame game of who was at fault that their relationship broke down. It's clear both acted out of love but what that looked like to both of them varied differently. This story is about both men finding their way back together again. Being able to unite their love for one another. I think the love is the adhesion that keeps this story going, always a sucker for a love story and happy ending, you are rooting for them to make good decisions. The group chats keeps up the humour, but we also see how special each of the friends are. Hopefully, we hear from Luke again, he was a sweet character. I will miss all of these guys, they have been fantastic. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Firstly, I will say this is a story of two halves. Once you finish reading, it all makes sense. The first half feels flat on emotion, a bit gloomy because that reflects the feelings of Colby. Colby is a bit adrift, he can't seem to fall in love and doesn't know how to fix it. Constantly feeling something is wrong with him, always feeling like everyone has these great expectations of him and it weighs heavily. Luckily, he has his best friend, Vince, who can see he is low and is trying to help him out of his funk. Fun and flirty throughout, these two are best of friends and decide on an overnight trip to a club to have fun and find Vince a hookup.  This wasn't far off an only one bed story, with how being in close proximity helped shift some thoughts. Feelings don't come into this story until near the end and it scares both of them. Colby discovers some revelations about his sexuality and having a possible label really brings him some peace. Vince has been burned too many times and isn't sure his heart could take another break. Luckily, all the friends and family are really supportive and give great advice. In the end the feelings are deep and special and by the time we get to Monroe and Holden's wedding, it is very emotional. We initially met Vince with book 1 and he has definitely matured as a character and one I really liked. His friendship with Holden is special and Holden was a great support in this book. A great small town series, with a huge heart and I hope the new brewery could possibly bring a spin off.

My favourite of the series so far. We didn't know much about Mouse, despite him being a well known character. I loved watching his character develop and figure out what he was really searching for and what he needed to help his mind and body heal. Cal was such a special soul, he was calm and patient and had such a special bond with Mouse. This book had me crying during the prologue and again in the epilogue, very poignant and heartfelt. A lot of heavy intimacy that felt special and private between the two men, lovers from the start, and a deep respect for one another. Lots of various kinks, especially pain play and I will mention fist ing because that is always a click buy for me. There are a few side characters that no doubt have a story in them, Doc's being the most obvious. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Bede is a man who has spent his life hiding, and now he finds it so hard to show any vulnerability; In his old life it would have gotten him killed. Now he is afraid of his future, afraid to believe he can have a good honest life and actually live crime free. It's a slow burn, low steam story, but a simmering heat running all the way through as they both try and feel ready to submit to their feelings. Galen is another complex character, he has lost his way since his father's death, left with bills and other responsibilities he feels the heavy weight on his back. He doesn't want to like the parolees, let alone develop feelings for one of them. As a reader, I was invested in how their relationship developed, hoping their stolen glances would clue them in quicker that there was mutual interest. I love the setting of the Farthingdale books, I could feel the relentless heat from the sun and the freshness of the lake. There are a few more stories to come in this series and I'm really looking forward to them.

DARKROOM by Nick Christie

This book is like a soap opera that brings a mixture of characters together, who are all connected by the Darkroom club. Darkroom is a gay leather club and owned by Dean, he is the most central character in the book.
Nick's books are always unapologetically honest, almost primal with a great deal of  'own voice' genuineness. The book covers many kinks, not all carried out by central characters, but expect all bodily fluids. Book licking does feature heavily, as does the love of leather; the feel  the fit and the smell. I felt I could smell the leather at times. Messy, sloppy, smelly; not one for the easily offended. Lots of leather brands mentioned and I found myself googling them so I get the right picture in my head. Dean and Darren are perfect together, one minute they are taking part in a hot and heavy session, sometimes with others watching and participating and the next they are having swoony, tender moments just them. It is a 5 star read because it feels so real and genuine, it's not all sunshine and roses, this author is one of the few that dares to mention all of the smells and tastes and not just the fresh, showered smells.

This is Travis' story, the third King brother, who has a reputation for being a player.
However, Travis is a lot deeper than that and once he amd Luca meet they fall in love. Their relationship is complicated, they find love declarations easy but defining their relationship is what they are struggling with. Luca has demons and struggles that he keeps inside, he has a huge secret that uses a lot of his energy. Travis also has a secret, but his is hopefully a chance to make Lucas happy. The story bounces around timelines, some parts knit together from the previous stories. This story brings everything to a close in a really happy ending.

Wow, what a book to wrap up the series with. Emil and Christian are amazing. I loved the unique way they encountered each other, it was voyeurism and exhibitionism at its best. There really is no angst between these two, some from other characters, but these two found each other and just got in deeper and deeper with each other. There was a peacefulness that they both encountered when they were together and they both drew strength from that. I adored the hermit crabs, Emil's one sided conversations were hilarious, the crabs couldn't care less! This series is really special, I can remember so many of the characters vividly. I will always hold a soft spot for Mal and Alex and now Emil has joined them. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
