Wow, what a book to wrap up the series with. Emil and Christian are amazing. I loved the unique way they encountered each other, it was voyeurism and exhibitionism at its best. There really is no angst between these two, some from other characters, but these two found each other and just got in deeper and deeper with each other. There was a peacefulness that they both encountered when they were together and they both drew strength from that. I adored the hermit crabs, Emil's one sided conversations were hilarious, the crabs couldn't care less! This series is really special, I can remember so many of the characters vividly. I will always hold a soft spot for Mal and Alex and now Emil has joined them. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
