A frustrating story, we can see how right these two would be together, but because it's single POV we get a bigger insight to Thomas's insecurities and worries. It's hard not to take sides but we need to remember that Asher is being honest and not let Thomas's concerns doubt him. It takes a lot for them to work everything out, but the feeling of relief for Asher, to be free of his secret. Sal is a great friend to Thomas and ot was good to see her sticking up for Asher too.
Their feelings were never in question  it was all about Asher finding the right time and for Thomas to not be so insecure.

Loved this, I have enjoyed this series, but this one was definitely my favourite. Denny and his Gram were featured in the previous book, but now he is grown up and signed to the NHL. A gorgeous man in a cowboy hat, and a sensitive sweet hockey rookie was always going to be a winning combo. Denny was so confident on ice, but off the ice he was an introvert, with a lot of deep thoughts. Hank was meant to be helping to improve the image of his family's mill and who better to help than the town's favourite hockey player. They have an agreement to help the locals soften to Hank and the mill, but Neither of them realised that they would fall in love. Their time together was pure and simple, they were insatiable together, a real addiction that just felt so special. Denny isn't sure he wants to announce his bisexuality, not sure he wants that to be the focus in his rookie year, but his feelings are getting harder to hide and it causes him extra anxiety. Hank and his horses both fell hard for Denny. Lots of heartfelt memories made this sad at times, especially when Denny spoke about his parents deaths. I loved that there was no angst, there was a real sense of calmness when they spent time together. The epilogue jumps forward five years and was lovely to see how their relationship had developed and how the town had fully accepted Hank. A really happy ending where Denny gets his cowboy.

This was never going to be an easy romance because the secret Cedric was hiding was that he is Royalty. Having broken free from his proverbial tower he is feeling free and able to escape the expectations and duties he was born to. However, how long can he carry on before his family demand him home to carry on the lie he is being asked to live.
Tristan has given him hope that he can love who he wants and yet he knew there would come a time that he would have to choose his duty or love. There was depth to the characters, and we learn what haunts Tristan. The emotion gets stronger as their romance develops. Cedric's character is written in quite a formal way, which helps to portrays him as Royal.  He relaxes over the course of the story. Lots of central characters help this story along and reading the teaser for the next book, has given me more to look forward to. This is a story of obsession, unexplained and unexpected but Anthony feels a strong sense of affection for Tatum. Tatum, being a lively flirtatious character, breaks him down; a hard mafia boss just cannot say no to him. One of the few that doesn't look at him with fear.
His saviour when he was in trouble. Tatum doesn't even realise that Anthony knew where to find him, he arrived, saved him and took care of business. Tatum and his body can't contain the affect Anthony has on him, and Anthony lays claim to him. No cares who is watching, major exhibitionism with Tatum and Anthony forgetting the world exists around them.
I adored his relationship with Angel and I hope we get to find out what is going on with him. Bane was a fabulous distraction and in the real world, you would prefer him behind plexiglass, but he was fun and made torture and mutilation a light topic. This book is heavy on the dark side of Mafia dealings but the growly possession and raw need of each other lends itself to making you feel ok with sinister events and very invested in these two men giving and taking what they need from each other. Both honest with the knowledge that this is even more powerful than love. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This story turned out to be sweeter than I thought and a refreshing role of the construction worker being the shy, quiet one.
I liked the characters, they were easy to like and there was chemistry between them. The book is a novella and that is why it is quick moving. It would have definitely worked well as a full length book too, it would have possibly helped to deepen the narrative that this novella started, especially with the side story of the letters. Based in a small town with a feel good factor, this book is a great story with no angst. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily
