The Silencer by Cora Rose

5.0

This is a story of obsession, unexplained and unexpected but Anthony feels a strong sense of affection for Tatum. Tatum, being a lively flirtatious character, breaks him down; a hard mafia boss just cannot say no to him. One of the few that doesn't look at him with fear.
His saviour when he was in trouble. Tatum doesn't even realise that Anthony knew where to find him, he arrived, saved him and took care of business. Tatum and his body can't contain the affect Anthony has on him, and Anthony lays claim to him. No cares who is watching, major exhibitionism with Tatum and Anthony forgetting the world exists around them.
I adored his relationship with Angel and I hope we get to find out what is going on with him. Bane was a fabulous distraction and in the real world, you would prefer him behind plexiglass, but he was fun and made torture and mutilation a light topic. This book is heavy on the dark side of Mafia dealings but the growly possession and raw need of each other lends itself to making you feel ok with sinister events and very invested in these two men giving and taking what they need from each other. Both honest with the knowledge that this is even more powerful than love. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
