I loved Soledad's journey back to herself and trusting herself again. I loved Judah he was so sweet and a dream father that I wish more women in the world had. I just didn't love their dynamic together it felt like Soledad just broke his boundaries for her selfish gain at times with no true regard for his feelings. Also it got old with the whole well the Edward thing is new ..... it wasn't it was going on two years
Also..... Inez is exactly why it's so hard for me to want to read books with kids and l'll just leave it there lol

I loved Van Helsing the movie and this book reminded me so much of it and in such a great way. Describing his true form always put me in mind of the wives of Dracula from that movie!

I love how even through the hurt Barnaby was still willing to be vulnerable with her. I also loved how Maisie easily recognized it and didn’t take that for granted and also gave him the reassurance all people need. It was nice reading about a man needing reassurance of affection and love.

It was truly great to read about a love story evolve with no secrets. They were really vulnerable and honest with each other from jump, and that was great to experience. Their need for each other flew off the page 😍

It was hard for me to come up with a rating

I was invested enough to finish the book. I had to know how it ended

But lord was it slow and I wasn’t ready for the triggering things in here. Also the lack of communication got to me especially her “becuase I can” 🙄 More than anything I hate seeing people struggle when they were given a bad hand at life from the time they were born.

Also for someone to capitalize off of another’s misfortune was hard for me to read. Of course Parker was the real monster but I couldn’t help but hurt for her because of her mom even when she was suppose to be better in the eyes of the public (which is all her mom wanted for the public to see her image as good) she was still rotten to the core.

Also ummmm am I the only one that thought it was a tad weird their HEA was them just accepting they are murderers who catch the itch when the mood strikes

This was just what I needed to read to get out of my frustration of terrible FMCs!!!!!

I loved this premise of women entering the “draft” for possible matching for alien husbands.

Mercy was amazing and I loved Pax his kind nature and protective at all costs

This book stressed me out! The angst and my thoughts of how is this going to work because them being together felt impossible! Also with the FMC constantly refusing to take to the MMC ......
Slight miscommunication but reading this felt like a must right after shattered crown! You would be stumbling running to this book after that one to see what comes off the ride or die friend to Kira with the horrible misfortune to be forced to marry the devil. And the quiet storm that is Roman the bodyguard with a past! I will say the FMC in this book and her personality in shattered crown feel like two completely different people and not sure how I feel about that.
Monica is the queen of spice soooooo that will always deliver.
The audio performance was 4.5 ⭐️
for me just hearing
the Russian words always was cringe and felt force but never completely executed!
