This was kinda a mess. I never understood why they were so love with each other to begin with, which made her long mourning period make no sense. The way she kept dismissing her best friends feelings after her reunion…… yea selfish friend.

Him hiding made no sense also and the fae storyline just died out.

Not gonna lie the location of my home state of Virginia. This was gonna get high stars from me. I’m not into the technical I go on vibes and this had everything I needed.

The mutual pinning, the accuracy of Virginia, just I really enjoyed this novella can’t describe.

I didn’t care I had no idea what the job was and why they needed a wiener truck.

If I was blindfolded and this played I would know instantly this was an Ali hazelwood book 
It's just something so identifiable about her work & she took a trope I would usually not like and made it work perfectly. Cute little novella and I loved the past and present of it all
