Oh Cash, you dreamboat. I love a broody cowboy romance and don't necessarily expect them to be full of rich plotlines. This book was definitely entertaining while still having an original element with the relationship between Cash and Mollie's late father and the drama surrounding ownership of the ranch.

At first, Cash's personality was a bit lacking (kinda whiny, right?), but I'm glad he eventually dropped the self-entitlement. And I love a sex positive FMC!

I am ready for Wyatt!

As excited as I was about this seasonal spooky why-choose, I just couldn’t get into it. Don’t get me wrong, the spice was heavy and frequent and *hot*, but my brain just could not keep track of the 17 different characters and competing POVs. Trying to keep up and remember who everyone was and who they were coupled with really threw me off the plot.

Booktok has redeemed itself! Wow. There aren’t many thrillers that have genuinely shocked me, but I was NOT expecting that twist at the ending of That’s Not My Name. I’m pretty sure I audibly gasped when I read it.

I struggled to stay engaged for the first quarter or so of the book, but then we got a little more, then even more suspense. In hindsight, it was a good buildup for the real excitement that didn’t come until about 50-60% in. Once it did, I was hooked.

I was so angry for Drew (the MMC) throughout the entire novel, and the ending just pushed me over the edge into full sobs.

There were a couple of plot holes that bothered me but once the action picked up, all was forgotten. This will likely be a top recommendation for me.

If loving Josh Hammond is wrong, I don’t want to be right. This book had no business being as funny as it was. I loved how Aly and Josh matched each other’s freak so well - both in the kinky sense as well as emotional. Not sure what it says about me that I wished there was a bit more stalker spice though…and why was I smiling like a giddy teenager at the epilogue? Turns out Navessa Allen can make even dub-con adorable.

I guess I didn’t read too many reviews before diving in, because I was not expecting the turn of events around 60% in. Even so, I would like to know how someone with parents tied to the Irish/Italian mafias gets the name “Greg”.

10/10 would absolutely recommend. So much so that I’m listening to the audio version immediately after I finished reading with my eyeballs.
