- older sister's best friend

Spencer has been in love with his older sister's best friend Ivy since he was a kid, and always hoped they would one day be together. But when Ivy emerges as an alpha and finds her pack before Spencer even knows his designation, he's devastated. Everything he ever wanted is no longer an option, and he spirals into a deep depression.

When it's finally his time to head to Calling Wood to find a pack, Spencer is less than enthused. Still heartbroken and pining after Ivy, Spencer does everything he can to avoid her and her pack, but everything changes when Spencer smells Ivy and realizes that they're fated to be together after all...

Poor sweet Spencer. He struggled so hard with his designation and was utterly heartbroken when he thought he would never get to be with Ivy after she had already found her pack, but fate had other plans. I just wanted to give him all the love and hugs!

Outside of Spencer, I absolutely adored Everlee's character, she was just so sassy and adorable, and such a sneak when it came to getting the whole pack together. Plus she was always so wonderful with Spencer and his panic attacks, and I really loved their friendship and a dynamic as a whole.

I will say that I wish Ivy, Calix and Carter had more of a personality. Their Alpha characters honestly just blurred together for me. Also the drama with the spurned Alpha pack was a little OTT, but whatever lol

Avery lives a solitary life as a dragon, spending his days with his nose stuck in a book and wishing for a family of his own. Avery's wish may be well within reach, as sparks fly between him and local baker, Jack.

While Jack is very much interested in pursuing Avery, he's concerned their differences will be too much to sustain a permanent relationship, as Avery is much more well off than Jack and his family--not that Avery cares.

Both Avery and Jack were absolute sweethearts, and my heart ached for them as both of them often felt inadequate. Avery 1000% deserved better than what he got from his 'father', and just wanted love, affection, and the family he was never allowed to have. Whereas Jack wanted to give him those things, but didn't feel like he was enough for Avery.

I really loved that Jack's family was so quick to accept and love on Avery, and that he finally got his wish. He truly deserved all the happiness in the world, and I loved his and Jack's story so much!

Listenโ€ฆ When I Was Theirs broke me. I knew going in this was going to be heavy on the emotions, but my god I wasnโ€™t prepared to be this genuinely devastated.

I sobbed, so fucking much. Seriously, so so much. I honestly didnโ€™t think I would ever stop crying, but I didnโ€™t because this ended up being such a beautifully written story about healing and finding love after loss & every little moment mended my broken heart.

Highly recommend if you enjoy getting your heart shattered and sobbing uncontrollably.

The blurb for In Every Universe had me so excited to jump into this story because the concept was unlike anything I've stumbled upon, but unfortunately (and disappointingly) the AU concept just isn't given the deep dive it deserved and was pretty surface level. I mean overall, it wasn't a bad read by any means, I just wanted more from it.

Oh gosh, the way I love these two so much!

I didn't think that anyone could hold a candle to Trent and Miles, but Ben and Robin completely blew those two out the water. If had I had to be completely honest, I was a goner for Robin the minute I saw how desperately he wanted the love and affection that Ben doled out to him. He was absolutely the sweetest and kindest lonely little man, and I just wanted to hug him forever.

& don't even get me started on Ben. That man, despite his grumpy exterior, was an absolute teddy bear and the most perfect boyfriend to ever book boyfriend. He was just to awkward and adorable, and I loved how patient and perceptive he was with Robin, but also dominating in the best way (which I'll admit I wasn't expecting lol).

These two just balanced each other out so well, and I loved every sweet and steamy minute of their story so much that I never wanted it to end!

As her thirtieth birthday looms closer, Hazel canโ€™t help but feel like she missed out on getting a little crazy while she kept her nose stuck in a book.

When she starts finding secret messages in books throughout her store, Hazel takes it as a sign to have a little adventureโ€”better late than never!

Who better to help her than Noah, Dream Harborโ€™s fun loving fisherman who is always down for an adventure, and the pair set off on a scavenger hunt that sends them all around town.

Sparks fly the more time Hazel and Noah spend together, and soon the tension and chemistry between them is too hard to deny.

I loved The Cinnamon Bun Book Store so much! Hazel and Noah were adorable and their story was just so swoony and sweet! Plus I absolutely loved the concept of the scavenger hunt Hazel was sent on and the mystery behind it too. So fun!

Tam prefers being alone, but when money gets too tight he's forced to take on a lodger to help cover rent and plans to avoid his new tenant for the duration of his six month lease.

That idea goes up in smoke the minute he meets Bhodi. Both men have been burned in the past, and despite the instant chemistry between them, the two are hesitant to fuck up their budding friendship.

As Tam and Bhodi grow closer, their feelings for each other are getting harder to resist, and soon the lines between friendship and more begin to blur.

Honestly, these two were absolutely precious! Their story was a tad bit angsty, but also incredibly sweet. I loved that these two tried to resist each other and the chemistry between them to build a healthy solid friendship before they boned instead of just diving into it.
