Twelve years ago Jake and Charlie spent a summer dancing around each other as camp counselors, never quite crossing the line they both so desperately wanted to. 

Now in Denver with her two kids for a fresh start, something like fate has thrown her and Jake back together again, and like magnets they’re drawn to each one another once more.  

Seal the Deal was a swoony and steamy second chance romance that had me squealing and kicking my feet the entire time. The connection between these two was something else, and I just loved their love so much 😍

Jake was an absolute dreamboat, and I loved how patient he was with not only Charlie, as she struggled to let him in past the walls she built thanks to her awful ex, but with Noah and Meadow as well. He was all in from the start, and he proved that time and time again. 

& Charlie was seriously such a strong FMC & absolutely fantastic mother. She picked up her entire life and moved halfway across the world on her own to make sure her kids would grow up happy, healthy, and safe.

1. Lukas Blomqvist does, in fact, fuck
2. Things are very Fifty Shades, as Pen would say—like in a really tame & boring way
3. Lukas is Swedish—much tall, very stoic
4. The yips are a real bitch 
5. Vandy is a jock and a nerd, and that is just sooo hot to all the men folk
6. Pen is possibly the most annoying character ever written 
7. Lukas is just so big, so tall, so Swedish
8. Vandy is a good girl 
9. The length of this is about as long as Lukas’s dick, just too much 🤣

The Cruel Prince meets Bridgerton? Say freaking less!

I absolutely devoured The Rose Bargain by Sasha Peyton Smith, and loved every minute of this Bachelor-esque competition with it's deliciously cruel, cutthroat tasks and it's ridiculous girl drama. The idea of a vicious and crafty Fae queen granting bargains that can alter your entire life--if you're willing to pay whatever twisted price the she demands, made this unlike any fairytale I've ever read before!

And that ending?! Holy cannoli! I need a sequel asap!!!!

Shilo is precious and must be protected at all costs 🥹

I seriously loved him from the very first chapter, and wanted to reach into the book and hug him so bad. 

His relationship with Ryann was a whole ass mess though, but despite that, they were pretty perfect together.

My Eel-ectric Valentine by CD Rachels

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

A gym locker mishap kicks off Tyson’s friendship with eel-shifter Ardsley, and has him offering  to play his boyfriend for a Valentine’s work function. Sparks fly—literally and figuratively—between Tyson & Ardsley, and their friendship turns into more. 

Short and sweet and too adorable!

A Crush on Coach by DK Sutton

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Back in his hometown for work and to help plan his parent’s 30th anniversary with his dad’s best friend (and his former wrestling coach), Brad, Charlie is unprepared for the attraction that sparks between him and the much older man. 

Honestly l would have loved for this to have been full length! The chemistry between Charlie and Brad was so good, and I didn’t want their story to be over! So good though 

It Must Be Fate by Lee Blair

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

A hilariously mortifying singing telegram mixup (and several run ins in the most unexpected places after) lead to love for Lex and Garrison in this adorable novella. 

Another one I wish had been full length! Their meet cute was hilarious, and I loved that they kept running into each other, and how well they clicked. Plus the steam wasn’t half bad either 😉

My Demon Keeper by Stella Rainbow

A text to a wrong number brings overprotective demon, Ten, into Matthew’s life. This was cute and steamy, but I didn’t really feel the connection between Ten and Matthew.

Relatable. Because honestly, who hasn’t?

I’ll be the first to admit my obsession with Twister and the massive crush I had on Bill Paxton at the time, to whatever it was about seeing Glen Powell in a cowboy hat in Twisters definitely has had me contemplating this a time or two 😅😅

Honestly though, Whirlwind was such a fun read! It’s action packed and spicy, the chemistry and tension between Ryker & Finley is 👌🏻, and there’s a great cast of side characters—let’s be honest, Joey really stole the show here 🤣

Ok this was seriously one of the cutest books I have ever read! Dylan and Axel were absolutely precious, and their story was so sweet—even though it had my emotions all over the place in the beginning with how much Dylan pined after Axel. 

So this just so cute and a definite must read!
