This is one of those books that makes you love romance, that makes all the books with weak character development and shotty relationship development turn to dust! Cause baby this one has be back to pledging my life to singlehood. Be down down and down bad for me or be gone! Mari was top tier book boyfriend. This has just the right amount of drama and mess but nothing was drawn out or took to long to be addressed. The book was slower paced in that is was well developed but not in the take forever to get to the point way. I think what I enjoyed most was that it omnipresent in the dual POVs that’s is legit my favorite writing style let me know what’s going on in everyone’s heads! I can’t believe this is only my 2nd Pynn book. I really enjoyed the way some of the confrontations were handled and how they changed with Taylor’s growth. It was so well done! Normal I get a little miffed with the lack of sports in a sports romance but this has some much in the life of an athlete stuff that it took the place of that in a realistic and enjoyable way! Like the way Mari would break down the game and teacher Taylor stuff. And again I have to just say oh my god the romance I can’t remember the last time I got some much on page happy time with a couple!!!! This has quite a few nuggets of wisdom in it that I loved also. Wonderful read and a great ending to setup intrigue for book two!

Going 4 because as beautiful as the relationship was between Goldy and Rome I need more time with them. The chemistry and connection was done just as well as the others I just wanted more time with it and the last 20% the pace dragged a bit. And I think  instead of waiting until the last minute to have a conversation about something Sin and Enzo knew they felt from basically the beginning it would have been better to get it done and then leave more time for the push and pull with Rome. Like really let it built up and watching him fighting his feels. This was my first Shon book…I know,
I know, I am late to the cool kids party but I did very much enjoy the writing and the way she explores connections. I love MM so that was a little light for my preferences but I ABSOLUTELY LOVED how she gave us a little platonic romance I swear it’s my favorite thing ever! Overall this was a really good book I started smiling at the beginning and almost never stopped it was just so sweet and cute.

I don’t read blurbs and none of the reviews I saw prepared me for whatever this was. I can appreciate the odd quirky humor of Ray. But very little else made any sense to me. It’s an erotica but the smex was basics. Not very detailed and not creative, after the initial scene most of it wasn’t even sexy. And I’m not even going to touch the plot cause holy unnecessary filler Batman! Needless to say I was wildly disappointed in this.

This was a good read, despite the fact that it stressed me out and almost made me flip to the ending to figure out how things were going to play out. I enjoyed the sort of Instalove /love at first sight chemistry between Gee and Rhian it was done well. I also enjoyed the way the author tied in characters from her publishing mates books that was a treat. I also liked how much on page relationship building we got. I’m a little interested to see what she does in the next books since it feels like to me you already have a good sense of the relationship between Amos and Brie. You don’t often see authors clearly establish connections between side characters and then go on to give them their own book. So I’m looking forward to seeing what happens or if it’s just the play by play of what was going on with them in this books.

So yea this definitely isn’t a romcom. It is decidedly women’s fiction. It was a very good read in that regard. It was so realistic and relatable. Tia was a lovable and I was rooting so hard for her and so proud of the way she didn’t settle. But because of that the ending was completely unsatisfying. One there is no HEA or HFN so again not a romcom. Sitcom maybe. Two, it end on a moment that feels very TBC and if there was any indication of that going in I would have been fine. However, this was cheeky and entertaining and I read it in one sitting. But the author definitely owes us an actual conclusion.

I don’t know what I enjoyed more, the science or Byron’s cocky self. The loooong (lol) awaited conclusion to this series was so thrilling. Even if the author left a few unanswered questions and room for more stories from the bunch, finally getting the closure for this one was great. The family connection and the concept of a recessive gene was such a brilliant idea. And our favorite pack Zaddy getting his HEA was the icing on the cake.

This lady does not miss. I’m going 4.5 on these one because I needed Czar to grovel a little more for playing her like that. I sort of get why everyone was mad about the plot twist and had beef with Marley but since no one bothered to get my girl any counseling I don’t know what they expected. Shoulda, woulda, coulda, is a game all of us play. But Harper was the realest character on this book and my favorite. Now Carolann should have seen the light sooner than she did but she’d done very little living so she’d done very little learning. As always Nesha’s humor was the stand out of the book, the pace was good and you didn’t start to feel the length until around 80%. This didn’t have the seamless flow I’m used to it skipped around a little but I still really enjoyed it. I love a good new friends to lovers, it low key my favorite.

As far as what I would do in this situation. I would want a conversation and closure but Jaxson explained it best, no man that loves you would have let you endure that and no man that cared about your well being would have interrupted your life for the sake of their selfish wants and needs. So I would have talked to Casper but I would have done it with my man sitting there holding me through it lol.

Cheers to the HEA. I love that they finally figured things out. I can appreciate the author have the characters work through the complexity of the situation. I still think the way I interpreted the way things made it less enjoyable for me. Overall this was a good read.

Ok I had major issues with the plot and erotica or not if you include a plot I expect it to be solid and it just didn’t work for me. However she did something I haven’t seen done especially with male characters, that I personally am obsessed with, which is platonic romance and I ate up every moment of it. As far as the spice it was good but apparently I’m demisexual when it comes to books because I never connected fully with the characters so it wasn’t as satisfying as it otherwise would have been. I struggle with this authors writing style but I’m always intrigued by her concepts so I keep coming back.
