This lady does not miss. I’m going 4.5 on these one because I needed Czar to grovel a little more for playing her like that. I sort of get why everyone was mad about the plot twist and had beef with Marley but since no one bothered to get my girl any counseling I don’t know what they expected. Shoulda, woulda, coulda, is a game all of us play. But Harper was the realest character on this book and my favorite. Now Carolann should have seen the light sooner than she did but she’d done very little living so she’d done very little learning. As always Nesha’s humor was the stand out of the book, the pace was good and you didn’t start to feel the length until around 80%. This didn’t have the seamless flow I’m used to it skipped around a little but I still really enjoyed it. I love a good new friends to lovers, it low key my favorite.
As far as what I would do in this situation. I would want a conversation and closure but Jaxson explained it best, no man that loves you would have let you endure that and no man that cared about your well being would have interrupted your life for the sake of their selfish wants and needs. So I would have talked to Casper but I would have done it with my man sitting there holding me through it lol.
