What a sad, but healing story. Tangoā€™s journey is a tough pill to swallow, but Iā€™m grateful for Laurenā€™s tactful writing that focused on Tangoā€™s trauma in a respectful, but emotionally compelling way.

Wow. I didnā€™t think I would end up liking Aidenā€™s storyā€”heā€™s an immature player whoā€™s ridden on the success of the clubā€™s coattails since the start of the series. However, I really loved this book. Seeing him have to make hard choices and live with the consequences of his actions really helped mature him and turn him into a character I admire, and I inhaled this story in under 24 hours. Not only was Aidenā€™s romance compelling, but the plot was fast-paced and action packed!

ā€œBeing a part of your club is like breathing secondhand smoke. It doesnā€™t hurt at first. But by the time the damage is done, itā€™s too late to do anything about it. And then it kills you.ā€

P.S. Some of the scenes in this one were quite sad. IYKYK. šŸ˜©

Onto the next book!

Another banger in the Dartmoor series. Honestly, Iā€™m thrilled beyond belief that I gave this author a chance because I am obsessed! This book is about Walsh and Emmie, and I loved the two of them! The plot was so good, and the writing was amazing as always. And Ms. Lauren Gilleyā€”maā€™amā€”that ending! Immediately diving into book 4, Secondhand Smoke, now!

This is THE MC series to read. Iā€™m so damn impressed with this.

Hmmmm. I don't know if it was my mood that made this book not hit quite right or what. All I know is that this had many elements that should have worked for me (in theory), but ended up feeling like a chore to read some of the time. I do think I will continue the series, but for some reason, this book just didn't hook me the way I was hoping it to. Could be my mood, thoughā€”I'm not ruling out my bitchiness.

The level of investment I feel in these fictional characters lives cannot be healthy, but Iā€™ve never claimed to be normal. The Lean Dogs have a new family member: me. Lauren Gilley is a wordsmith and she just makes you feel like these characters are your brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, family and friends. Itā€™s beautiful.

No matter what Hollywood pretended, outlaws would never be in style. It was impossible to be popular when your arms were orange and blue and red and black with ink.

This series is everything. Iā€™m loving the characters, the additional complexities of the overarching series plot, and the characters. Michaelā€™s romance with Holly was so beautiful, and I loved getting many Ava and Mercy POVā€™s since I was not ready to let them go from their book, Fearless! If you want a series to consume you, this is one you can happily get lost in.

Mercy sighed noisily. ā€œManā€¦ā€ He shook his head. ā€œCan I give you a piece of advice? One fucked-up whackjob to another? We donā€™t get a whole lot of good things handed to us in this life. When a very beautiful girl is brave enough to actually want to stick around, you donā€™t let her go.ā€

Michael lifted his brows.

ā€œYou marry her, and you hope to God she never comes to her senses.ā€

The most perfect MC romance. Holy shit. Lauren Gilley has a new reader for life. Full review to come when I can wrap my mind around how to write something that will do this book justice.

It was so perfect, and it was so disastrous. ā€‹And theyā€™d be sliced to bits before it was all over.

I will never look at a Furby the same way again šŸ˜…!

The characters were actually really cute. Griffin is the sweetest rockstar Iā€™ve ever read about, and Lucaā€™s character was kind and relatable. This story just didnā€™t hold my interest šŸ„±. It was too sweet šŸ for me šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø, but I can see this book working well for people who enjoy sweeter romances.

P.S. This audiobook is included in the Audible Plus program if you add the book to your KU library, and itā€™s narrated in dual style by Andi Arndt and Jacob Morgan!
