Secondhand Smoke by Lauren Gilley
5.0
Wow. I didn’t think I would end up liking Aiden’s story—he’s an immature player who’s ridden on the success of the club’s coattails since the start of the series. However, I really loved this book. Seeing him have to make hard choices and live with the consequences of his actions really helped mature him and turn him into a character I admire, and I inhaled this story in under 24 hours. Not only was Aiden’s romance compelling, but the plot was fast-paced and action packed!
“Being a part of your club is like breathing secondhand smoke. It doesn’t hurt at first. But by the time the damage is done, it’s too late to do anything about it. And then it kills you.”
P.S. Some of the scenes in this one were quite sad. IYKYK. 😩
Onto the next book!
