Hmmmm. I don't know if it was my mood that made this book not hit quite right or what. All I know is that this had many elements that should have worked for me (in theory), but ended up feeling like a chore to read some of the time. I do think I will continue the series, but for some reason, this book just didn't hook me the way I was hoping it to. Could be my mood, though—I'm not ruling out my bitchiness.
