everything about this book had my head spinning back and forth, holy shit tho the ending? that had me shaking in my boots (either from shock or anger idk). there were some moments where i was like ‘ok wtf did i just read? did i read that correctly?’ but i’ll give hoover one thing and she will incorporate romance into anything.
ik this book was a thriller romance but i didn’t think the romance was needed i felt like it wasn’t needed, and the main character kinda pissed me off with her actions. i really would’ve liked to explore more of the mom’s pov during it all.

i’m ngl it’s not what i expected. for wtv reason i had this expectation that it’d be related to romance (since that’s what i mostly read and found this on tik tok) but i could not be more wrong.

it’s about a school shooting and the students’ pov of what’s happening around them.

the book was good don’t get me wrong. i enjoyed it enough to binge read it in one day. the characters who pissed me off the most would be the shooter and the blonde (is she even blonde?) track runner. the shooter alone is enough explanation, but the girl just rubbed me the wrong way and got on my nerves. the shooter was just creepy, annoying and a dick throughout the book. i hate hate hate how he offs himself in the end, omg it pissed me off so bad i really wanted him to suffer in jail or smth but no.

besides that i liked it. i loved the twins and their bond with one another, how it showed the good and bad between them. how realistic it is to have a sibling. i loved that it went a little deep with their family history, loved that there was some small LGBTQ+ plus in there.

i could see some foreshadowing throughout the book but what really got me crying was the ending with the twins. they were my favorites throughout the book and what happened to the guy just broke me. alongside with the sister lighting a candle in memory for her dead twin

i really liked this book. i thought the main characters were adorable with one another, loved that she was always there for him despite knowing how it’ll end for both of them. loved that they cared and loved one another so strongly.

i put it off for so long since the slow burn kinda ticked me off bc of how long they just danced around one another (while he was on limited time) it was kinda painful for me to read that (mostly the middle of it). the before and after was easier to read as i went on with it.

loved the family fluff shown to the fmc while she had her own issues with her family basically abandoning her at the beginning of her career. it was really sweet to see that, for her to experience two types of love all throughout. she got to experience a happy (bittersweet) loving, and a normal life once she settled down with the mmc. he got to experience a loving, happy (bittersweet) loving life once she entered his life, no more experiencing the lonely pitiful life he subjected himself to.

the ending broke me apart. especially when the mother sat the fmc down and talked ab the mmc. just wanting her son to experience and give love, to know he’s loved by someone outside of his family, someone who’s sticking around the good and bad for him.

i loved it. i really liked persephone’s character and her dynamic between hades. i loved how she treated everyone with kindness and even if she snapped she later apologized. it was a love-hate relationship between me and their relationship but i fell for both of them. i was on the edge of my seat the throughout the entire book, truly amazing.

i really liked this book. i liked how the readers were able to see a big summary of what she’s been through and turned it into a book. it was really interesting and had me very invested from start to finish.
the story was a little off putting to read once she started talking about possibly loving him, when all i could think about was the fact that he’s way older than her, he stalked her since she was young and kidnapped her.

i loved this story, it was good, not as nearly as sad as everyone made it out to be but the last chapter?? made me bawl my eyes out. it was beautifully written

i liked the book, it was good / ok. it had a lot of cute moments with lina and aaron and the family.
the one thing that i didn’t really like was lina’s character, it was a love-hate relationship with me and her. she had her moment that made close my book and take a moment before reading. but i can i understand her (at times) but it was very cringy at times. also it took me a while to read, i felt like it dragged on but as i got into it i couldn’t put it down. kinda gave off early wattpad vibes with lina’s character ngl.
i’m in love with aaron. he’s such a sweetheart under all that cold exterior. oh and the smut????? 10/10

the book was good, it was.

i loved charlie he was precious,i loved how he went from no friends to having met a wonderful group of ppl who took him. this was nicely well written, had me reading for hours and hours trying to know what happens next. the close-ish bond he created with his sister once she told him her secret really touched my heart to see. it really moved me to see that his entire family supported him when he was in the hospital.

the only thing that did get to me was how sam was a little back and forth between him as friendly and romantic (not in a big way either just in small little things).
didn’t sit well with me that he is so young and having went through a ton of alcohol, smoking cigarettes and weed but ig it can be realistic to someone else’s life.
i was left a little confused throughout the book, especially towards the ending once i completed it. i was left with unanswered questions which i had to look up to connect the dots (but again that’s a me thing i’m not a really observant person).

idk why but for wtv reason i just didn’t retain a single thing i read when it came to this book, it dragged on for so long it took me quite a bit to read it.

also mainly bc i didn’t understand what the heck was going on, i was so confused the entire time.

i can tell you nothing of what this book is about :D
all i remember is that circe is a witch who is the black sheep of the family (for wtv reason) tries to fix a bunch of men only for it to never work out, save for the last one of the bunch. that’s the thing i didn’t really like, that she craved the male attention, she ate that shit up. she tried fixing them when they were lost causes or didn’t deserve her help. i was very proud of the fact that she was independent, a powerful witch, and didn’t step down to no one no matter what.
