A Soft and Sexy Masterpiece

A song that fits this book lyric for lyric is You Da One by Rihanna; brief thought I had when I finished this book. W.S. Greer's books get better each time, that's a given. And he's done it again! The pace of the book was just perfect. You are instantly invested because the characters feel so alive and real, on every page. Oh and the banter? It's hilarious and so full of tension. The chemistry in this book is like no other. The way they communicate with each other is so full of emotion and everything is beautifully written.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐:
Kendrick and Maya have this intense connection, even when they did not know much about each other. Their chemistry will just blow you away! And their stories are so full of life in the sense that they experience so much. The author truly focuses on character development and that happens throughout the book, not just in the last 3 chapters and I love it!

That Was Something...

⭐⭐⭐
I am usually more invested and usually finish Rina Kent books in 3 days max. This took me a week to finish, so I was not fully into the story. On a better note, I'm waiting for EliAva.

I will not include a spice rating because a good amount of the spice was copy and paste from the previous books. And I just don't know how to rate it.

This is all to say that I somewhat enjoyed the characters but everything felt so shallow to me that I had difficulties finishing the book. Will I read books by Rina Kent again? Yes, because I need EliAva. My short term memory loss will fix everything so I won't say anything else

Off of Planet Earth

Took a quick break from planet Earth romances and went to another solar system. I had such a good time reading this book, finished it in 2 days. If you have been looking to get into some sci-fi romances, I recommend that you start with this one. It is a series, so feel free to revisit them because you will enjoy reading them everytime!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐:
One thing I enjoy is when a book is character focused. It is important to give us the setting and the overall plot, but oftentimes I'm more eager to meet the characters first, then learn about the setting. And Ruby Dixon did that flawlessly. The descriptions were not dragged out and the plot moved. So, that was perfect for me!

A Wonderful Story

10/10 Pacing
The pacing was great. For a slowburn, it did not drag unnecessarily with filler scenes. As you're reading, you are identifying why certain conversations happened the way the did and things happened a certain way. Nothing is a waste of your time!

10/10 Story Arc
The entire story has many interesting themes and plots that I was genuinely invested in. I was skipping through because the narrative parts were just as valuable as the dialogues. So, it's a good story!

8/10 Character
Aiden is indeed completely enthralled by Summer and I loved it. Summer also truly falls for him but she does play with his emotions sometimes which I had an issue with. Also, there are just a few characters (about 3) that I wanted to read more about, but it's all good. It was not something major.

10/10 Inclusion of the teased tropes
The tropes mentioned in all the author's posts were on point and they can be clearly highlighted throughout the entire book.

✨ARC Review✨

⭐⭐⭐⭐:
It took me a few days to finish this book. I started truly flying through it at about 40%. However, as mentioned above the pace was great! Something I noticed in the first half of the book is just the creativity of the author with the slowburn. Bal Khabra did amazing on that! It got so sexy and the tension was just so explosive. I was screaming, just so magnetic! The wording is so heartfelt and poetic. Not boringly and repetitively poetic, but magnetic and so intriguing. You will want to read more!
Their dynamic is electric. The way they switch

10/10 Pacing
Finished this in 2 days. Based on how I read, this means that we had 0 filler scenes, no boring side conversations, and the plot was constantly moving.

10/10 Story Arc
This story is overall funny, cheesy in such a refreshing, small-town kind of way, fluffy, heartwrenching, and heartwarming! I enjoyed every single page. It was amazing!

10/10 Character
Every character was so distinct, from their dialogues to the things they did. Beatrix Moore, our main girl, is such an amazing character. She is so kind, confident, funny, and just the best. She has her struggles, of course, and she powers through them, and her surroundings cheer her on! Our MMC, Christopher Kingsman, is a wealthy football star. And when I say boy obsessed, I mean fully ready to do and say anything that will make Trixie happy.

10/10 Inclusion of the teased tropes
I was waiting for more of the fake dating, but I loved it regardless. I feel like, overall, I flew through this book, and I wanted everything to last longer. I WANT MORE!

✨ARC Review✨

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐:
Even though this is a fun and easy read, there are some warnings included. The author clearly details it all in the content note, so definitely read it. It is a specific chapter and some other scenes/ lines, so definitely take care when reading❤️
Trixie and Chris made the rules, and that's in every way possible, and I loved it!
I was like there is no way I could physically rate this book less than 5 stars because I loved the story so much. And Trixie, I want her as my best friend; she's literally amazing, did I say that earlier? Doesn't matter, Trixie is amazing

A Never-Done Before Mafia Romance

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐:
I have been obsessed with this book for the past 3 days. My brain has been stuck on Roman and Nina. Messaged my closest book besties with my thoughts and opinions, fully obsessed. So here's the thing, you know how there are books that launch you into the plot and you're just into the story from page 1? Yes, the author does just that in this book. I was so invested and that was the entire time! The characters omg so wonderfully written. Everyone has their specific characteristics and it's all done so well. The author delivers!!! It's a mafia romance, so you get all the deals, organized crime activities and the passionate romance. There's some angst but it's HEA, I promise ❤️ I loved it all, I can't think of anything that I didn't like. Neva Altaj wrote this book just for me and thank you so much❤️ *literally sobbing*

A Short and Sexy Read

10/10 Pacing
This was a very short read, less than 300 pages so that justified the pace in my opinion. Even with the fast progression, it was not rushed. So, the pace was great overall.

10/10 Story Arc
This is an insta-love/ insta-lust. And there are many other subplots. One however is pretty heavy so definitely check the triggers first! The storytelling is also well done.

10/10 Characters
This was my absolute favorite thing about this book. Mindy writes such realistic characters. She allows you to visualize everything with her writing. I was fully immersed into the characters, their monologues and stories.

10/10 Inclusion of the teased tropes
All the tropes are well done. They're all incorporated fully throughout the book and nothing was left unanswered.

✨ Arc Review ✨:

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐:
I loved this book. However, this helped me realize that I have a personal issue with insta-love/ insta-lust. I constantly felt like their connection lacked depth because of the way things began. I could be fully wrong on the connection not being "strong" enough because it all was too fast, but this is an honest review, so honest thoughts ONLY! I guess I'm just a sucker for slowburn. Regardless of all that, it was really well written so these stars are well-deserved!
