The pace of the book was just perfect. You are instantly invested because the characters feel so alive and real, on every page. Oh and the banter? It's hilarious and so full of tension. The chemistry in this book is like no other. The way they communicate with each other is so full of emotion and everything is beautifully written.

Kendrick and Maya have this intense connection, even when they did not know much about each other. Their chemistry will just blow you away! And their stories are so full of life in the sense that they experience so much. The author truly focuses on character development and that happens throughout the book, not just in the last 3 chapters and I love it!
