So, I skipped book 5 and went into book 6 (and I think I'm going to skip book 5 altogether, tbh, given the storyline). Book 6 of the Boudreaux series is the story of Vanessa, the sister who endured a tremendous amount of abuse at the hands of her former husband, who is now in jail. Two years after her ordeal, Van is ready to move on, and the person she's ready to move on with her life, and she knows the perfect person for the job.
Ben Preston has been part of the Boudreaux family forever. He is best friends with Eli and has been a part of Van's life forever. He's also been in love with Van forever. But he's always considered Van off limits because of her brothers. That's all about to change.
This is going to be a short review because I'm super busy and don't have a lot of new things to say. There was not a lot of original content - except for the ridiculous story line with Van's ex-husband. It was so over the top and not really believable, and quite frankly, added nothing to the story. It was also quite predictable. There were also a few storylines that weren't wrapped up - that was kind of annoying.
Overall, it was an enjoyable story, and I will continue to read anything Kristen Proby writes.

Book received from author for an honest opinion !
So this book was really interesting! I felt like I should've read the other books in this series, mainly because I am so very anal about reading things in order, but because it was a stand alone I went with it. This couple it seems like were a long time coming, kinda like second chance but not really since they never really went for it in the beginning. Ben was an amazing man who had been so very in love with his best friend's little sister for a very long time, when she gets married to another man he was in pain! & I felt for him! Luckily they get their HEA & manage to make it through the dark past that was hanging over Van's life. Very happy for this couple!

Van and Ben did not disappoint. I waited a long time for them to find each other and it was worth every second. I love Ben. He's amazing and the way that Van found herself through his love was empowering. Gong to miss this crazy, big, wealthy, good looking family!!

I have waited for savannah and ben's story since book one of this series! I absolutely loved this story, my only complaint is I wish there was more to this series! What a perfect ending to a beautiful series! Kristen Proby wrote a beautiful story!

I skipped the fourth and fifth book in the series because I wanted to get to Savanna and Ben's story, finally!
And this did not disappoint....savanna is such a strong sassy character, it's almost unbelievable that she had been in the situation that she was, but that just proves that she is a survivor...Ben is just perfect, a strong man who will protect you with a Sweetside.... The chemistry between them was fabulous, it had been building for six books! I'm sad to see the series end, but perhaps some books about the offspring???

Ahhhh I loved this series! What a fantastic ending. Now I’m going through Boudreaux withdrawals! Van and Ben were such a long time coming I was so hyped up for this! The only disappointment here is that we have no more siblings

5 Worth The Wait Stars!!
“The man’s lips should come with a warning label. May cause light-headedness and loss of control.”
“You’re the strongest person I know, Savannah, and it’s a privilege to be with you.”
“His love roars louder than her demons.”
“You’re everything.” “You are the beginning and end of me, Savannah. I don’t work without you.”
Beautiful. Swoon-worthy. Magical. Breathtaking. Those are just a few words to describe the latest installment of The Boudreaux Series. If you’ve been following this series for a while, then you have probably been waiting with baited breath for Ben & Savannah’s story. I for one, have been waiting on pins and needles for it and am here to tell you that their story has been worth the wait.
Easy Nights is incredibly well written and utterly captivating. It is a story of hope and strength. A story of overcoming the unthinkable and coming out of it, a whole and new person. This is a story of second chances and the beauty of true love.
Savannah’s story is heartbreaking and yet incredibly beautiful at the same time. Her story tugged at my heart and begged for me to read it. She survived the unthinkable and worked hard to become her own woman and let go of the past. If anyone ever deserved a happy ending, it was Savannah. She deserved to see what real love looked and felt like and Ben was just the man for the task….. Ben is the most amazing guy. He is head over heels for Savannah and will do anything to make her happy. He’s had feelings for her for many years, but for one reason or another, he was never able to act on those feelings. That is all about to change. And let me tell you, when Ben loves, Ben loves hard. Ben is strong, knows what he wants and is utterly swoon-worthy. He is just the man to pull Savannah out of the darkness and show her how amazing real love can be…..
Easy Nights had me hooked from the first page and I couldn’t put it down. I was lost to Savannah and Ben. Their story beautiful, and at times heartbreaking. Savannah’s story is not an easy one and does deal with some tough subject matter, but I loved the way Kristen Proby handled it. She handled it with with the upmost care and made Savannah so real and easy to connect with.
Easy Nights is an amazing addition to this series and gave me soooo many feels. I loved every moment of this story from beginning to end and all the twists and turns in between. I honestly can’t say enough about this story. It was so worth the wait and I just loved it!

5 Easy Nights Stars
I have been waiting so patiently for Van’s book. It did not disappoint. I did find somethings to be predictable but all in a good way.
Ben is just it for her and she for him. So this book just makes you have all the warm fuzzies and isn’t that how we want a book to make us feel?
I am sad to see the series bed but so happy everyone got there HEA because this family is pretty fabulous.
Zachary Webber and his accent made the last 2 books soooooo enjoyable I can’t even tell you! <3
*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

This was very anticlimactic ending this series. Most these books did end with plot unresolved and left me wanting more from the characters and story. But this series did get better with each book though.
Trigger Warnings: mental and physical abuse, fertility issues, fighting, and PTSD

I knew this book was the one I wanted to read the most but I also knew it would be the hardest to read. So many women deal with domestic assault and it scars them for life. Savannah came away from it stronger and Ben is the perfect book boyfriend! This story is amazing!
