Amazing end to this series
I always loved these characters but I loved seeing Savannah come to be who she's been growing to be...and seeing this softer side of Ben was so swoony!! Loved seeing all the family and the epilogue had me tearing up! Such a amazing strong female lead!

Great addition to the series. So happy Ben finally got his HEA. It was touch and go for awhile which definitely added to the story, but WOW nailbiting scary.

First things first: I love you, Miss Kristen Proby.
I've been waiting (impatiently) for this book. I can't help it! The -loved you since childhood- scenarios make my heart melt.
I obviously devoured this book because hello, anything she writes is magic in my eyes.
I found this to be a beautiful, rather quick read. There's that huge family I love, steam and passion.
With that being said... I felt a weird sense of dejavú when I was reading. I think the plot was a bit predictable. I've read a few books VERY similar to some of the things that happened.
Overall, I still really enjoyed the chemistry between both characters.

Easy Nights (Boudreaux Series 6) by Kristen Proby
Narrated by Zachary Webber and Rachel Fulginiti
Last in the series, can stand alone, but better if read in order.
I started the Boudreaux Series by Kristen Proby with Book #5, Easy Magic, and I loved it so much I bought the others in audio, but I haven’t read them yet. However, I listened to Easy Nights (the 6th and final book in the series) right when it came out. Kristen is an amazing writer, and I thoroughly enjoyed Easy Nights, but I do wish I waited to read it until I read the others.
I feel like this isn’t really a fair review for me to do, because if you have been reading this series from the beginning, you have been rooting for Savannah and Ben to get together; you would be completely invested in the couple. And though it stood alone just fine, I wish I had the long build-up that readers of the full series did.
“Here’s the thing, Van. I can’t do this. I can’t spend the rest of my life in the friend zone with you.”
Ben is best friends with the Boudreaux brothers since he was a kid. Almost like another brother—which was the reason why he never acted on his crush on Savannah. If it didn’t work out, he couldn’t afford to lose the family. But two years after finding Savannah broken and beaten from her ex husband, he just can’t hold back anymore.
"I always thought that just having you in my life was enough. As long as you were happy and healthy, it was enough to be on the outside looking in, but it's just not good enough anymore."
Savannah is so strong, and I love how she fought her demons without leaning on others, but knowing she had a beautiful support system. I like how this story focused more on the Savannah she has been becoming, rather than the broken Savannah of the past. There was always a hopeful, positive feel to the story that could have gone dark. The one thing she really needed to fully heal, was Ben.

I also loved how Ben and his family were so intertwined with her family without it being weird, and how he made her more confidant in her strength rather than being her strength. I’m so glad that both got over it being almost taboo. Because they should have been together from the beginning.
“You are the beginning and end of me, Savannah. I don’t work without you.”
Likes:
- •Kristen Proby’s story telling skills are up there with the best.
- •Even though it was the last in a beloved series, it was still able to stand alone.
- •The closeness a friendships and love between all the characters.
- •Ben….sigh….
- •How strong & brave Savannah was on her own.
- •The epilogue would be great for all of those who followed the whole series.
Dislikes:
- •Though the story stood well alone, I regret not reading it in series order, especially since I do plan on going back and starting from the beginning. I think I would have appreciated it much more following this couple’s struggle from book 1.
Narration:
The narration adds to the the book, and I like her slight NOLA drawl.
The Down & Dirty:
Though Easy Magic stood really well alone, Easy Nights would have been a better read for me if I went back and listened to the rest of the series first. Apparently this romance has been building since the first book, and there was a lot of background that would have made this an amazing conclusion to the series. Don’t get me wrong, I still enjoyed it but it didn’t stand out that much to me, because I just wasn’t as invested as I could have been had I read the whole series. I think if I listen to this again after listening to the whole series, I may do a re-review, but for now, as someone that didn’t read books 1-4, it’s a 4 star read that I still really enjoyed.
Rating: 4 stars (would be higher if I read the whole series), 4 Heat, 5 Narration

Like many, this book is bittersweet. While I was so anxious for Savannah and Ben's story, I also knew it was the end of the Boudreauxes for us. So opening up my Kindle this morning and starting it, it made me pause, but I just had to dive in.
And I am so glad that I did! Savannah has been in love with Ben since childhood, and has gone through so much in her adulthood- things no one should experience. And Ben is there to help her heal and grow, and become the strong, independent woman that she has always been underneath. Their chemistry is off the charts!
As usual, Kristen Proby has another hit on her hands! Ben and Savannah have been favorites all along. The writing was superb, the plot well-developed, and you can't help but fall for the whole family. Another completed series, and the end was so worth it! And the epilogue?!? It brought everything together, and made me cry!
**Update** I've also listened to the audio, and it was awesome! Zachary Webber and Rachel Fulginiti did a great job of bringing Ben and Savannah to life!

I really don't want this series to be over. I loved it, as well as the Fusion and With Me in Seattle series'. So so good.

The whole series I have been waiting for Savannah and Ben. It's been hinted at. If you are new to the series I would suggest reading from the beginning, each book is about a different couple but as the family expands we see more of them in the next book.
I was interested to learn that both parties are nervous about pursing a relationship due to their close family connections and history.
A sweet story with some serious undertones.
