Easy Nights by Kristen Proby

So, I skipped book 5 and went into book 6 (and I think I'm going to skip book 5 altogether, tbh, given the storyline). Book 6 of the Boudreaux series is the story of Vanessa, the sister who endured a tremendous amount of abuse at the hands of her former husband, who is now in jail. Two years after her ordeal, Van is ready to move on, and the person she's ready to move on with her life, and she knows the perfect person for the job.

Ben Preston has been part of the Boudreaux family forever. He is best friends with Eli and has been a part of Van's life forever. He's also been in love with Van forever. But he's always considered Van off limits because of her brothers. That's all about to change.

This is going to be a short review because I'm super busy and don't have a lot of new things to say. There was not a lot of original content - except for the ridiculous story line with Van's ex-husband. It was so over the top and not really believable, and quite frankly, added nothing to the story. It was also quite predictable. There were also a few storylines that weren't wrapped up - that was kind of annoying.

Overall, it was an enjoyable story, and I will continue to read anything Kristen Proby writes.
