Picking up
Spoiler the love triangle with Nate Serena and Blair is actually finally a decent storyline. I haven’t enjoyed the last couple but did really enjoy this book in the series.

Imagine thinking you can only be straight or gay, and that your sexuality can be decided by your sister saying you don’t seem gay to them

The last of the OG series. I really liked this one. An excellent ending. Honestly. Guess I’ll read the prequel then be done with this GG reread. It’s been a fun, nostalgic ride.

Fantastic! So much drama in so little time. Everyone is heading off to college and only Vanessa and Serena are staying behind in NYC. Blair and Nate got back from their 1 month cruise together. Nate comes back confused as every, because he figures out he is in love with both Serena and Blair. He tells both of them that he didn't get his diploma and is not heading off to Yale with them. Blair is pissed off and throws a pair of shows at him. Serena is okay with that because apparently is staying in NYC to shoot the Breakfast at Fred's sequel and is ditching Yale. Blair is not happy that Nate and Serena will be in the city together and we know she always get what she wants. So she calls up her amazing daddy and has him call Yale and lets Nate in so they can go to Yale together. But talking with Captain Chips changed his mind and leaves Serena and Blair in the dust while he sails around the world with Captain Chips. Blair heads off to Yale anyway and Serena stays in the city to become a big star. Vanessa's sister Ruby gets married and Dan reads a poem he made and his inspiration was Vanessa. Dan figures out he wasn't gay and him and Vanessa get back together. Dan heads off on his road trip and Vanessa gets ready for NYU. Jenny gets back from Prague and is off to Waverly Prep soon. All is well, and college bond, for some.

♰ Enough is Enough
ੈ✩‧₊˚ It’s literally Book 11, and my jaw still never fails to drop every time Nate cheats on Blair with Serena—or with anyone, for that matter. Seriously, I need Blair to man the fuck up and leave these people alone. She needs to break free from the toxic cycle of Serena and Nate screwing her over again and again, and her having to forgive them over and over. It’s embarrassing at this point. It was cute at first—like, "Oh, nice drama," and I was just using it to pass the time. But now, it’s actually embarrassing. It’s miserable to watch Blair get screwed over time and time again by these two. It’s insane.
ੈ✩‧₊˚ In the last book, it ended with Serena writing a love letter to Nate right after she saw Nate and Blair confess their “undying love” to each other. Luckily, Blair saw it and tore it up. In this book, she still didn’t stop, even after Nate gave her no attention and was focused on his time with Blair. Serena told him she’s in love with him, and then he leaned in and kissed her because it “felt right”
Come on. And this is while they’re supposed to be planning Blair’s surprise birthday party? That’s insane.
ੈ✩‧₊˚ I need book Blair to channel show Blair's energy right now because this is getting seriously embarrassing. Come on.
ੈ✩‧₊˚ Nate’s decision to not choose any of them and leave them the fuck alone was probably the best thing he’s has done this whole series. Serena and Blair are so much better without him
