Ready for the next book!

Okay, this was another book where I preferred the H over the h. Loved Killian, he was pretty great all things considered. Una was hard to get along with for me. That's not uncommon for myself, I tend to like the male leads more.

My biggest stepping stone was ask the inner dialogue, at times it went on so long I'd get a bit lost, but it was still written well so I enjoyed it.

All in all this was a good book and I plan to continue reading the series. The side characters keep you interested and wanting to see where everyone will end up. It's really a great read for those who love pack lore.

didn’t think this would be a such a great read for a freebie, but I was pleasantly surprised. Sometimes you’re just in the mood for a grumpy alpha, a snarky heroine and a hot romance. And that’s what I got.

Big meh on this one. It was really well-written with clear character voice and great POV epiphanies from both MCs. The two leads were feisty and well-matched. And the premise of a severed mate bond forcing the two to come together without it was really interesting.

But man I just cannot get behind these hardcore pack dynamics. It’s, like, the one thing in supernatural romance where I can’t suspend my disbelief. It just feels so silly to me and it’s impossible to take it seriously. That’s a me thing, not a criticism of the book. I’m glad I gave this a shot since Cate has been on my TBR for ages, but I think I’m good on wolf pack books.

Spice level was not nearly as high as I thought it would be though - just a handful of brief sexy scenes to support the slow burn nature of this romance.

Overall, this book is great if you’re into this kind of thing. I’m just not, I guess.

So this is the exact grovelling shifter book I have been looking for. Loved it. Almost the entire focus was on the progression of the MCs relationship. It was entertains as hell and so. Much. Grovelling!!!

Ik it probably has some issues but it’s been a few days since I read this and all I can remember is I had a damn good time.

Re-read. Still an absolute banger. A fave.

Re re read: Goddamn. I hope we get a story about Ty and Kennedy. I need that shit ASAP.

Wanted to try shifter romance/omegaverse, and it was interesting.
