The story is simple but heartwarming. It feels like something that belongs in Hallmark Christmas special or something. The story of a woman who is recovering from a trauma and trying to help a man overcoming his depression and suicidal thoughts. I love the progression of their relationship and there are parts that made me tear up a little bit. Despite there being mention of mental health, it is clear that Cecilia Ahern didn't intend to make any superfluous statement on the issue and was just focusing on writing a sweet story. And for that I really enjoyed the journey of the two couple. However, I removed one star because some parts felt a bit slow for me but otherwise it is still very sweet.

I'm feeling... relieved.
I'm feeling... hopeful.
I'm feeling... giddy.
I'm feeling... happy.

I listened to Wonderful Life by Hurts 101 times, to get through the whole book.

This book was amazing! It was a roller coaster of Emotions but overall was so good ! I highly recommend if you want a deeper less light and happy book, not to say that it isn’t happy but it does touch on some deeper topics. I love love love this book please read it !!! You won’t regret it

I know there are quite a few negative reviews about this book, and while I would agree with some, I actually just really enjoyed this book as a whole, without picking it apart and disecting it to within an inch of its life. Once you start plucking out all of the negatives then you lose yourself in those rather than concentrating on the fact that it was a sweet, funny read.

I liked how Christine evolved, relying on Adam almost as much as he did her. At first I thought that I wouldn't like her, but I came to find her quite charming by the end.

I thought there were some really funny moments, just the dialogue and the banter. I found myse laughing more than once, despite the subject matter.

I would agree with the reviews that in a real world Christine would be more harmful than helpful to Adam, as she was just as damaged as he, but this is a book! Isn't that why we read books? To get away from realism?!

I didn't give the full five stars because I felt like after their amazing journey, we were just abandoned. I wanted to know why Adam suddenly and fervently wanted his place at Basils. I wanted to see if Christine moved to Tipperary and helped, or whether she took up an occupation as a therepist?
I just wanted a bit more to end on than a kiss on a bridge.

What was this cliche nothingness?

Nope, not for me. Not memorable. Predictable.

Another heart warming read from Miss Ahern. Not her best work but still very engaging.

There were times in this book when I found Ceceila's writing difficult to follow, but these moments were seldom. I adored the story and characters and it will stay with me for a long time
