The Guests by Adrian Leigh was so good!! If you like psychological thrillers, multiple POV’s, mystery, whodunit’s then you will love this book.

Leigh did an amazing job with this book I did not want to put it down. The storyline and plot were done amazingly well. This thriller will keep you hooked from page one and keep you on the edge of your seat until the last page. There were so many twists and turns, lots of suspense and shrouded in mystery. So many intriguing characters who are complex and messy. Just make sure to pay attention to who’s who to keep everyone straights. Love book like this where you are constantly trying to figure out who did it before the end to see if you guessed right. Thank you to Joffe Books, Adrianne Leigh, and NetGalley for letting me read the ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions.

Keep Me in Your Heart by Monica Murphy is book two in the Lancaster Prep Next Generation. If you like grumpy/sunshine, virgin MMC, first love, opposites attract, slow burn, YA romances then you will love this book.

Arabella Hartley Thomas is smart, sweet, caring, has no shame, and is very outspoken. She will stop at nothing to try and win over Rowan.

Rowan Lancaster, comes from a long line of Lancaster’s who have attended Lancaster Prep.  He can be an ass, except when it comes to Arabella, he would do anything for her.

Murphy did such a great job with this book. I loved the storyline and plot. I loved all of the characters, all well except for Arabella’s parents. I loved the banter between Rowan and Arabella, the way they are protective of one another. I enjoyed watching Arabella grow to love herself and become a more confident version of herself. I really enjoyed this book so much I went and purchased a special edition physical copy for myself. I can’t wait to read more books by her. Thank you to Entangled Amara, Monica Murphy, and NetGalley for letting me read the ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions.

Stealing Time by Tilia Klebenov Jacobs and Norman Birnbach was so GOOD!! If you like jewelry heists, 80’s, time travel, action, suspense, mystical gemstones, and capers then you will love this book.

It’s 2020, Tori lives in New York with her parents during the pandemic and is dealing with their divorce. One day she wakes up  in 1980, in her apartment but not her apartment. She learns the apartment belongs to Bobby, who is her father 40 years younger. They learn about a heist that is going to take place; a diamond from The American Museum of Natural History is what they want. Her grandfather will be the one to take the fall and go to prison. Tori and Bobby decide they will work together, they set out to learn who is involved and stop the heist.

Jacob’s and Birnbach did an amazing job with the storyline and plot. They had me hooked from page one. Could you imagine going back in time and not having the technology we have today? Not having everything at the touch of our fingertips. It was fun going back to the 80’s experiencing the fashion, music, and the technology of that time. She wasn’t close to her father in 2020, but going back in time gave her the chance to get to know her younger father and grow that bond they didn’t have. There were so many twists and turns, we got to go on an adventure with Tori and Bobby that kept me hooked not wanting to put the book down. Thank you to Tilia Klebenov Jacobs, Norman Birnbach, Linden Tree Press, and NetGalley for letting me read this book in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions.

This book was so good and kept me hooked. Rose did such a great job with the storyline and plot…I couldn’t put this book down. I loved that Ripley was such a badass she was tough as nails. I loved her relationship with Xander, Lennox, and Raine. Raine is still my favorite. Book 2 picks up where one left off, they are all stuck in Harrowdean Manor a mental health facility and are all fighting for their place. They eventually stop fighting each other and start working together to escape, growing close and eventually becoming a family. It was just so good you have to go read it. Thank you to J. Puck and Prejudice by Lia Riley is a great retelling of Pride and Prejudice with a hockey twist. If you like time travel, marriage of convenience, one bed, dual POV, author heroine, hockey player romance then you will love this book!!

Tucker Taylor is a goalie for the Austin Regals and is on medical leave. He decides to visit his sister in England. While driving he ends up in a frozen lake. When he comes to he soon realizes he’s not in 2024 England but rather in the 1800’s England.

Lizzy Wooddash is a widow, a huge reader, very social, and independent. She finds Tucker and together they come up with a plan for her freedom and him to return to 2024.

Riley did such a great job with this book. I enjoyed this retelling by with a twist. I loved the character’s and the dual POV. I thought the plot and storyline were so cute and different. I enjoyed the banter between, the romance, and the spiciness. Thank you to NetGalley and Harper Collins for letting me read this ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions.

Meet Me In Wonderland by Angel Anders is book three in The Carolinas series. I enjoyed this book so much. If you like forced proximity, age gap, workplace romance, ex boyfriend’s dad, let me take care of you, spice, mutual pining books then you will love this book.

Ellie is Fisher’s assistant and his son’s ex girlfriend. She is a bad ass assistant and knows Fisher very well.  She also happens to be into him but feels like she has no chance.

Fisher is focused on his company and doesn’t have time to date. He isn’t very close to his son and loves his friend’s daughter Avery like she’s his. He keeps to himself and doesn’t let anyone get close. He is very protective of Ellie and is into her but isn’t too sure if he should act on it. Until they go on a company trip and are snowed in together and things change.

This is the first book I’ve read by Anders and I really enjoyed it. I thought the storyline was great. I loved the characters, the friendship between Ellie and Harper it’s so much like the friendship with my friends, I also love the nickname they have for Fisher.  I love the way Fisher thinks Ellie will need to get used to compliments and makes sure she’s being taken care of. I can’t wait to go back and read the first two books. I think everyone should read this book, don’t add it to your TBR…read it!! I was given this ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions.

A Blessed Fall by Kate Smoak is book four in the Seasons series and I’m so happy Lexi got her story. If you like stalking, fast paced, spicy, billionaire, HEA romance then you will love this book!!

Lexi Gardner is still trying to get over Brandt by having several one night stands. It’s not working!! Liam, is her ex-boyfriend’s best friend and a successful stockbroker. Liam finds himself very attracted to Lexi, doesn’t like other men around, and can’t seem to stay away from her.

I was so excited to see Lexi get her story, I felt for her after Brandt hurt her the way he did. Although, she did know that he was in love with Elissa. Her chemistry with Liam jumped off the pages and their spice was spicing. This story had some mystery in it and I loved that. Smoak did an amazing job with this series I loved Brandt and Elissa’s story, even though there were times my heart broke for them. I loved Riley and Rhys, even though for a while I was very upset with him. My heart broke for Riley. I’m so sad that this series is over, I enjoyed getting to know all of the characters. They were so real in that everything thing they went through was stuff that we went through in our lives to some extent. I loved going through their journey’s with them. Thank you Kate for letting me read this book in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions. You should read this series.

Book of the Month by Jennifer Probst’s is book one in the Outer Banks series and I enjoyed this book so much!! If you like fake dating, grumpy/sunshine, struggling author, struggling inn owner, they fall at the same time, sea turtles, wild horses, contracts,  and spice then you will love this book.

Aspen Lourde lives in New York and is an author who used her breakup to write a best selling book. Now that she needs to write a sequel she is struggling.  She decides that she needs a break and goes to visit her sister Sierra in Outer Banks for the summer.

Brick Babel is very misunderstand and has the reputation of being a ladies man who goes around breaking women’s hearts. He is left heartbroken after his fiancée leaves him and trashes his name around town, there is even a support group for all who have been hurt by Brick. He is a tour guide at an inn, this his late grandfathers left him, this is struggling financially. Aspen thinks she needs a breakup to help her write her next book so she makes a deal with Brick that will help him with the money he needs for his inn.

I think Probst did an amazing job with this story. The plot was different and a very nice change. The storyline was great and I like that we got to understand the struggles of an author and what they go through to break their writers block. I loved the all of the characters, Brick and Aspen were so cute together. One has never been truly loved or experienced a relationship and one is still recovering from a heartbreak, they are afraid of falling but can’t help that they are. The side characters were just as amazing as the MC’s Sierra, Marco, Kane, and the locals. Marco is the owner of a cannabis shop. My favorite scene is when Marco tries to help Aspen with her nerves before a book signing, I was cracking up. This story was so much fun I wanted more. I can’t wait for book two…I wonder if it will be about Kane and Sierra, I have to know the story behind that awkward introduction. Please read this book you will love it. Thank you to Blue Box Press, NetGalley, and Jennifer Probst for letting me read this story in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions.

The Village Killer by Ross Greenwood is book seven in the DI Barton series and wow was it good!!  If you like crime thrillers, mysteries, multiple POV’s, different cases, multiple crimes, suspense, and police procedural stories then you will love this book.

DI John Barton has been at a desk job for 3 years wanting to give his family a break from his dangerous job. When he is given the chance to get back to Major Crimes, after discussing it with his wife, he accepts. He is given two cases that are in the news; a teenage girl who has gone missing and a woman walking on the side walk is almost killed by a driver, could they be connected…I don’t know. This tiny English village where his case takes him as it turns out is full of secrets

Greenwood did an amazing job with this story. The storyline and plot were amazing, I love the clues that are left throughout the story. I love how he takes you with him as Barton and his team solve this case.  The characters become real as you get into the story, you relate to them even the ones you hate. I love a good thriller that is full of suspense, twists, and turns. I like that the story doesn’t just follow one case or storyline, it follows different ones, and just when you think you’ve figured it out…you haven’t. We also get a story from the killers POV. You have to read this book you will be hooked and want to go back to read the first 6 books like me. Thank you to Boldwood Book, NetGalley, and Ross Greenwood for letting me read this story in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions.

A Tribute of Fire by Sariah Wilson is book one in The Eye of the Goddess series and it was so good!! I have quickly become a big fan of all of her writing. If you like forbidden love, hidden identities, strong FMC, closed door, secrets/betrayals, action packed, romantasy then you will love this book!!

Wilson did an amazing job with her first fantasy book. I did not want to put this book down. This story came in at around 500 pages but it was full of drama, battles, twists and turns, secrets and betrayals. The world building was done so well, it had magic and was influenced by Greek mythology. The characters were written and developed so well. Lia has been training to participate as tribute in Ilion. She must find the eye of the goddess to break the curse that’s been placed on her country. The game changes when her adoptive sister is chosen to escort her on this mission. Now she must not only save her country but also try to keep her sister alive. Along the way she meets Jason, the Ilion sailor she cannot stop thinking about and finds herself drawn to even when she is asleep. This is definitely a must read…I promise you will be as captivated by this book like I was but just know you will be left on a cliffhanger, wanting more!! Thank you to NetGalley, Montlake, and Sariah Wilson for letting me read this book in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions.
