The Missing Ones by Patricia Gibney is book one in the Detective Lottie Parker series and her debut novel!! If you like crime, suspense, whodunit, police procedural, fast paced thrillers then you will love this book!!
Lottie Parker, is a detective inspector in a small town in Ireland. She is a mom of three and just recently lost her husband. Parker is brought in to investigate a woman’s body that was discovered in a cathedral and later in the day they find a young man hanging from a tree outside his home. They find a similar tattoo on the legs of both bodies that connect both murders. The investigation leads her to St. Angela’s, that was formerly a children’s home, thats connected to her own family history. She has to solve these murders quickly and find the murderer, to keeps her kids safe.
Gibney wrote a story that I was so involved in I didn’t want to put it down until
I solved it with them. She did a great job with this dark storyline and plot in this well written mystery. The characters were written so well. There were so many twists and turns in a story that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I listened to the audiobook narrated by Michele Moran who did an amazing job. Thank you to Bookoutre and NetGalley for letting me listen to this audiobook in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions.

A Cruel Thirst by Angela Montoya I DEVOURED because it was so amazingly good. If you like fake engagement, enemies to lovers, a vampire that doesn’t feast on humans, historical and mythology elements, feisty bad ass FMC, family secrets, great banter and vampire hunters then you will love this book.
Carolina Fuentes comes from a family of vampiro hunters and is currently training to become one against her father’s wishes. Her father wants to arrange her marriage to a family friend so he can get her out of town to keep her safe. Lalo Villalobos is a simple boy who loves to keeps his nose in books. He suddenly loses his parents when vampiro’s attacked his town and he is out for revenge. When he confronts the vampire mistress who did it, she instead bites Lalo and changing his life giving him the curse he fights to not change his life.
Montoya wrote a fantastic book and this was my introduction to her, I cannot wait to read more by her. She did a great job with the storyline and plot. I felt like I was in the story with Lalo and Carolina. ALL of the characters were so well written. I loved Carolina she was such a bad ass FMC who was constantly trying to take Lalo out. I loved that we got a taste of Mexican culture throughout the book. I was so into this book I completely forgot it was YA!! I cannot tell you enough to go read this book and go on Lalo and Carolina’s journey with them. Thank you so very much to Joy Revolution and NetGalley for letting me read this ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions.

The Wrong Heart by Jennifer Hartmann was an emotional read. If you like opposites attract, scarred MMC, grieving widow, organ donor, opposites attract, trauma, slow burn, HEA, spicy, contemporary romances then you will love this book.
This book takes you on a journey with Melody as she is dealing with the loss of her husband. It was a realistic look at what it’s like to deal with losing your husband and the grief that takes over. Her husband’s heart went to someone in need. Melody meets Parker, who has her husband’s heart, at a suicide prevention group. Parker has had a rough life, is grumpy, and he is completely broken. His solution to not feel or get hurt, cut off as much human interaction he can. As different as Melody and Parker are and against Parker’s protests he lets Melody in. They are able to heal each other in ways no one else could.
Hartmann writes amazing stories that take you through emotional and healing journeys. She writes stories with amazing storylines and plots. They are authentic, raw, gut wrenching, beautiful, and spicy. She goes straight for the heart breaks it into a millions pieces then she eventually puts back together. I would recommend this book to anyone and the audiobook adds to the story even more. Thank you to Bloom Book and NetGalley for letting me read this ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions.

Fragment by J. L. Litschko
4.5
Fragment by J.L. Litschko was so good!! If you like cyberpunk, dystopian, sci-fi, fast paced crime thrillers that take place in the future then you will love this book.
This is Litschko’s debut novel and it was fantastic. Litschko did such an amazing job with the storyline, plot, and world building. This fast pace, action packed read takes you into a world of political corruption, drug underworlds, and secrets. I was on the edge of my seat as I went on this ride with Dr. Neele, Simmons, and Marsh. This is definitely a book I will be recommending to not only my friends, but to my bookclub as well. Thank you to Love Book Tours and J.L. Litschko for letting read an ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions.

My Pucking Family by Izzy Elliott
4.5
My Pucking Family by Izzy Elliott is book two in the Pucking Werewolves series and I LOVED it!! If you like found family, fated mates, hidden identity, werewolves/paranormal, and hockey romances then you will love this book.
I absolutely adore Izzy so I will always read and support anything she writes. My Pucking Family picks where the cliffhanger My Pucking Mate left off. Leera was kidnapped and Roman will stop at nothing to find her. In this book, we learn more about Leera’s past, watch her find her voice, and become a stronger version of herself. We get more spice between them and their relationship gets stronger. This book is roller coaster ride with twists and turns. Izzy did a fantastic job with the storyline and plot. She does an amazing job with the characters with the introduction of new characters and more drama. As with book one we are left on another cliffhanger and biting our nails until book three comes…which can’t come fast enough. I love this series and cannot recommend it enough. Thank you Izzy for letting me read this ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions.

Romancing the Rogue, Volume One: Falling for the Bad Boy Villain by Sophea Chan
4.5
Romancing the Rogue by Sophea Chan, Harper Lynn, TM Goodkey, Tasha Creed, and Jada McCrary is book one in the Falling for the Bad Boy series. If you like enemies to lovers, he falls first, love triangle, forbidden love, touch her and die, secret identity, monster, second chance, pirate, villain, closed door romances then you will love this book!!
This book had different stories written by different authors and I loved it!!
Loving the Monster by TM Goodbye: a man searched ten years for his love and has changed along the way. He sees himself as a monster she sees him as the man she’s always loved.
Falling for Evil by CN Noble: brothers who are royalty, one becomes a villain and a seductress a race to conquer the throne.
Eel Shipping by Megan Mosier: a sci-fi feel adventure with a mad-scientist and an eel that fall in love.
Of Fae and Wicked Kings by Jada McCrary: has a good looking villain, a mission, betrayal, and adventure.
Thieves Without Flaws by Harper Lynn: a supernatural story with great banter, and a cat and mouse chase that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
Bloodhound Rogue by Tasha Creed: good looking rogue and a feisty princess on a mission to search for the truth and save the kingdom.
Dead Man’s Grave by Sophea Chan: morally grey hero, a spirited love interest, full of betrayal, angst, and swashbuckling fun. Pirates need I say more.
Each fantasy romance story was different but they all had one things in common…morally gray characters. I enjoyed getting to read different authors who had very different writing styles and different ways of telling stories. I can’t wait to read more from each of these authors. Although these story had morally grey villains, I was excited to get their stories and chance at love. I enjoy these stories so much and I hope I get to read more stories like this!! I was give an ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions. Read this anthology you will get swept away!!

The Goalie and Santa's Little Helper by Ginger Scott
4.0
The Goalie & Santa’s Little Helper by Ginger Scott is book four in the Final Score series. If you like brothers best friend, spice, college, Christmas romance novellas then you will love this book.
I love everything Scott writes and have quickly become a big fan of her books. Scott did such a great job with this novella, it’s one of those books where I wish it was longer. I wish this series was made into a show or movie that’s written straight from these books no changes. This book follows Frankie and Noah who have known each other since they were kids. Frankie has been in love with Noah, her brother’s best friend. After sharing a kiss over the summer he’s been distant, now they have to work on the same community project. Their chemistry and attraction is so strong and I enjoy their banter. I enjoyed this book so much!! I was given an ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions.

Charming Nicholas Saint by Steffanie Blais
4.0
Charming Nicholas Saint by Steffanie Blais would make the cutest Hallmark movie!! Love the Christmas Hallmark movies. If you like enemies to lovers, forced proximity, found family, small town, holiday novellas then you will love this book!!
At this point I will read anything Steffanie writes and I don’t think she can write a bad book. Morgan is a pop star, while on her way home from touring she makes stop in a small town thats full of Christmas cheer. She then gets arrested for stealing muffins and is sentenced to community service. What does she have to do for her community service? Im glad you asked she starts working on a Christmas tree farm owned by Nick a firefighter. The chemistry and banter between Morgan and Nick was perfect. The spice was spicing. Steffanie did an amazing job with the storyline and the characters. This was the perfect Christmas novella. Thank you to Steffanie for letting me read this book in exchange for my honest thoughts and opinions.

4.0
The Unexpected Reunion by L. Clara is book three in the Unexpected series. If you love workplace romance, found family, protective MMC, friends to lovers romances then you will love this book!!
Clara did it again!! I love this series and these characters. The storyline and plot were done so well I was hooked from page one. I am so happy we got Pickles and Clay’s story. I loved the connection and chemistry they had. The way Clay was so protective of her was everything. He was so patient, kind, and loving. I resonated with Pickles and my heart broke for her. Her family sucked! Her parents and sister were so evil!! I feel like everyone who was in her life hurt her and I loved that Clay changed that. That cliffhanger left me shocked and my mouth hit the floor. You have to read this series and this author you will be hooked!! I was given this book as an ARC for my honest thoughts and opinions!!

Ghost of You by Kayleigh Hilton emotionally gutted me and it’s so good!! If you like second chance romance, trauma, flashbacks, heartache, first love, soulmates, family, spicy romance then you will love this book!!
Kayleigh took me on an emotional journey with this book. I have only really cried in 2 books and this was the second book I cried in…so just make sure you have tissues next to when you read this. She did an amazing job with the storyline, plot, and character’s. Killian and Laelia’s relationship and love story was so relatable which made this story feel so real. Not all love stories have happy endings, but we got to live through Killian and Laelia's, their ups and downs, finding out they were having a baby, and tragic end. This is the second book I’ve read by Kayleigh and loved, I can’t wait to see what she does next. I was given an ARC, for my honest thoughts and opinions.
