I really thought this was a wonderful female rage Patrick Bateman scenario!

I highly recommend this book to any fan of Serj or SOAD. It is incredible to hear about Serj's family and upbringing. To hear the humble beginnings of the band. I also loved getting to understand Serj's activism and political views. The parallels of the wars and genocides spoke about in this book and the ones that are still happening are not lost on me either.

I chose this book solely based on the cover and was pleasantly surprised that it was about vampires. I love a good story with vampires! I didn't give 5 stars just because some of the story I kept getting mixed up and affected my enjoyment.

This is a boring short story. I didn't realize how short it was. I normally don't like those because I want time to get to know the characters and have more time for mystery and suspense. I didn't find this to be compelling or interesting at all.

I loved this book a lot. As someone who watched the show before reading the books I’m so sad that almost none of this book made it to the show. Almost every event and character didn’t make it to hbo

As complete as I thought the first book was, this one added so much. It felt like something that isn't too far off from today's society and that scares me. So much sorrow and death, yet much hope is left behind as the new frontier heads on with Earthseed
