Really great book, although I didn't feel like this book was quite as emersive into the culture as some of her others. I also thought this was the first relationship that felt a little forced. I liked Fiona and Gabe together, it just needed more to convince me it was actual love and not infatuation/lust.

It was kind of a fun read, but the Christian aspect came off very cheesy.

The Shepherd's Wife by Angela Hunt

Did not finish book. Stopped at 16%.
I understand there was a lot of misogyny in that time; but to put it in the mouths of characters who are supposed to be "good" isnt the way to show it. I also felt as if the rich sister was written in a way to show she was shallow because of her wealth, which I didn't appreciate. Marriages were all about securing comfort and safety at that time, and that shouldn't make her flighty or shallow. And there was very little talk about Jesus, and it seemed as of be wouldn't be in much of the book

Really good but ends on a cliffhanger. And I also felt the action was really segmented because of all the perspectives

Such an amazing book!! I read it for st. Patrick's day, hoping it would be a spring book. It takes place in the fall, but it didn't focus too much on the season so it was still a good st Patrick's day read.

I really loved Hannah, and Conor was the stereotypical romance guy so he was good too. I have loved every one of Julie chaplin's books and this is no exception! The character development is amazing and you truly get immersed in the culture of the country. I especially liked that the misunderstandings were a very short part of the book. I hate when it's cringe or too much angst, and this was the perfect amount.

Super fun st. Patrick's Day mysteries! I loved how they all had to do with milkshakes. I read it for Liz Ireland's "Mrs. Claus" story, but the others were pretty good too.

I hate the enemies to lovers trope, and the kid version ("nemesis to friends," as Galaxy Jones puts it) is just as bad in my opinion.

BUT.

I ended up really enjoying it. When they got past all the banter and when Galaxy got her head out of her butt, it was a super sweet story of how to grapple with change, both in your world and in yourself.

This was SUCH an amazing book! It was a little slow in the beginning, but still interesting. It goes a bit fast about half way through, and it's so worth it!!

This was good, but there's a lot going on and they just added a Ra's al ghul element. I'm curious how they'll wrap it up in 2 episodes
