Did not finish book. Stopped at 16%.
I understand there was a lot of misogyny in that time; but to put it in the mouths of characters who are supposed to be "good" isnt the way to show it. I also felt as if the rich sister was written in a way to show she was shallow because of her wealth, which I didn't appreciate. Marriages were all about securing comfort and safety at that time, and that shouldn't make her flighty or shallow. And there was very little talk about Jesus, and it seemed as of be wouldn't be in much of the book
