Well, things are coming to a head in more than one way. I don’t know how I feel about the relationship between the master and Merit. I think I need a few more books to make my choice if I want them together or not. Sometimes I think they are good for each other but then others I am not sure. I think she needs someone who will stand with her no matter if that is the hard thing to do. I feel like her family being who they are, really did a number on her and she need someone to put her first.

The shifter storyline really had me enthralled I want more of this moving forward I think even the hint of an alliance would be very interesting.

Again I am loving the narration.

Katy is freakin’ awesome. I love that she gets excited about books and that she blogs about them. I love that she can give as good as she gets. She is sassy and fights for what is right even if what is right might be different.

I also feel for Katy and her mom, they are still feeling the loss of Katy’s father. Moving to a new place seems to have helped her mom and Katy to she meets the neighbors….

Dee and Katy hit it off and become fast friends but Daemon who is Dee’s brother is a lot harder to like. And he sure makes his feelings known. The snarky back and forth between Katy and Daemon is funny as all heck. I love it.

This is just one of those books that makes you laugh and smile and you think to yourself, wow not what I was expecting AT ALL.

I like the narration but I am not a huge fan of it. I think sometimes the narrator sounds husky or sultry and that doesn’t fit the characters but overall I don’t’ mind it. I will keep going with the series.

Well I did kind of suspect but I sure as heck did not see that coming!!

Things are heating up in Chicago and Merit is right smack dab in the middle of it all and not by her choice.

I really like the new relationships she is making, I don’t think she is moving on per say I think she is living on as he would have wanted.

Again I am loving the narration.

The best book yet!

Holy Moly so much happens, Deamon is either incredibly awesome or incredibly dumb and I say that with all the love.
Katy and Deamon both go through a H – E – L– L like they have never known. But they also gain a lot of information I would never have expected.

I love that it isn’t predictable, even having read this series once before I still forgot huge chunks of what happened. So it feels like getting to read it for the first time all over again.

Each book ends on a cliffy and I am coming to find out they are all more intense than the last. I can’t read book 5 like NOW!

I really liked the dual narration; I found I am getting to like Justine Eyre as Katy and Rob Shapiro is totally Deamon. The tone and inflection he uses are exactly how I see Deamon, the self-assured tone and I even feel like you can hear the smirk in his voice. LOVE.

I thought there was action in book 2, oh boy what I wrong there is some crazy action in book 3. I forgot how much I liked this series.

Don’t get me wrong there were times I wanted to shake Katy and there were times I wanted to shake Deamon, but overall this series is just getting better and better.

The relationship between Dee and Katy kinda hurt my heart I am hoping they can get back what they once had.

Ahhh I can’t keep typing I have to go and read book 4

Again the narration isn’t horrible, I think if she were narration anything other than teenagers it would be totally fine. Again I like her she doesn’t take from the story at all just she has an older sounding voice.

Faythe has such a headstrong and will to live she really made me love this listen.
The Pride doesn’t have a lot of Females so when one is born they kind of dote on them. But Faythe doesn’t want that she wasn’t to be treated like one of the guys, she doesn’t want to be told what to do or how or with who. But it's not really how the Pride work. So she gets her freedom for a little while but has to come back because some of the females have gone missing.

I love that she was so herself and yes she goes head to head with the Alpha aka her father but they come to an understanding of sorts throughout this book and it is an interesting dynamic.

Marc is the love interest, and as much as Faythe doesn’t want to be tied down their connection is too strong.

Faythe for me seemed soo bada-ss, but I also think she is scared, scared to end up like her mother with a bunch of kids and her life as just a Pride female. But what she didn’t see is her dad kind of has other plans. I loved the whole book even more with each listen.

The narration for me was fantastic I loved that she doesn’t sound too old or too young and she sounded confident which is how I see Faythe in my mind.

I guess I read this book back in 2014 and to be honest I couldn’t remember it at all.
And listening nothing really jogged my memory of it. So it felt like a completely new book to me.

That being said I rated it a 5 then and today I am going to rate it a 4. I really enjoyed the book don’t get me wrong but there are things I am kind of scratching my head about.
Jax and Kira, I love that she challenges him and that she isn’t afraid of him, well she was that her instinct about him really was spot on.

I am not a fan of the doctor and I get it she has a past but her attitude got me all protective of Kira. And I know she didn’t need it because she actually liked the doc but for me, something about her just rubs me the wrong way.

Jax getting his feeling hurt when Kira was venting out her emotion I wanted to smack him and be like ‘dude, this whole thing has tilted her world upside down, give her a freaking break’ but of course I can’t smack characters lol.

Overall I enjoyed the setup, and all the new secondary characters and what the books based on. Think I might have to do book 2 to see how it’s all is coming along. Because of this book just kind of sets up the series. I did like how smoken hot the scenes were not going to like I love that about shifter books the hotter the better I say.

The narration was good it took a little bit to get used to be she does a great job keeping you engaged in the story.

I LOVED this whole series! Hope we see more of this crazy town of awesome characters.

Ahmed is Mo’s bodyguard and I was so looking forward to this book because he needed love. He needed to see that his dark parts are not as scary as he thinks. But he needed someone who not only understands his dark side but someone who could accept it. Bridget Springer is just the person. I love that she hides who her family is. I love that she knows what she wants and doesn't take no for an answer.

This book well it just got me in the feels.

Again Loved the narration!

I remember reading this book before and not really liking it and I don’t understand why at all because this time around I freaking LOVED it.
Madison is the best big sister EVER, she has so very much love for her siblings and she doesn’t feel like they are a burden at all, now her mother, on the other hand, is who she feels like is a burden heck she IS!

Ephraim is a mysterious kind of guy, I felt so bad for him at the beginning of the book. But what I love is the spunk he has, and the funny humor he sneaks in there when you least expect it.

I have 2 favorite characters, Chris & Jill the sister, I don’t know what it is about them but I liked both and I want to see how the series is going to go soooo I am moving on to book 2!!

I very much enjoyed Stella Bloom’s narrations he gave everyone a voice and it was just such a great performance!

Again second time reading this been a few years, but I have to say Tack is not someone you forget like ever.
Tyra, oh the drama this one brings. I love it because Tack needed someone that would keep him on his toes without being a raving lunatic like his ex.

Though I will say I liked Tyra’s spunk the woman sure knows what she wants and if Tack doesn’t put up or shut up she sure made it known what she wanted. But again not in the way of his lunatic ex. For dang sure. I love how momma bear Tyra got over Tacks kids. Even teenagers need the love of a good woman after years of their mom.

You have to respect a man like Tack who brought his club in to legit holdings and was there for his brothers and made it so they wouldn't feel the hit in the mula department too. Tack is just aces.

Again I liked Kate’s narration of this story, but I wasn't a fan of her Tack voice. It wasn't bad per say just liked her other men voice better. Still a fabulous listen though!
