I have to say getting more/different characters in this world makes me want more, more, more.
This world Jeaniene has created is probably one of my most favorites to come back to over and over again.

I really enjoyed the fact that Isa didn’t freak out and go screaming in to the night when she found out what and who Chance is.

She was open minded and didn’t judge. Sure she questioned who wouldn’t.
To be honest I can’t remember reading this the first time, so I am glad I re read this gem, it’s a great addition to the series.

You can’t like em all as much as the last. Well it’s not that I didn’t like this one because I did. I just wasn’t in to the whole ghost thing. I don’t know it just felt off a little.

I can’t really say what I didn’t like. I can tell you what I did like. I loved that Cat kicked some serious booty. I love that Ian tries to get a rise out of Cat at all times.

“Christ, Reaper, with your bald head and all that soot, you look like a mannequin someone attacked with a blowtorch.” - Ian

I even understand why Cat’s mom doesn’t want to feed. And I like that Cat and Bones both understood it and mad her see reason.
I can’t wait for Tate, Cat and Bones to kick Madigan’s freaking butt. That guy rubs me the wrong way.

I did do other things a lot with this book I would stop and do this or that, it just didn’t hope my attention as much until the end but what can you do.

I think I figured out what was missing Vlad! I def need to read his books too… So many books so little time. 

I can’t say enough about this book. It was the first for me by this author back when I first read it. Now that I have it in audio I HAD to do a re-read.

And it still hits me in the chest as much as it did the first time. You know those books you read and they stick with you days, months or even years later. Well that was/is this book for me. I read it back in 2013 and 3 yrs. later it pops in to my head.

The pull these 2 characters feel for each other is like anything I have read before, that isn’t paranormal. I just found that to be endearing.

Melanie & Daniel are just meant to be, that deep down kind of love you want if you don’t have it. That soul searching feeling and when you find it or they find you, it’s like you clicked together. You’re not just 2 separate beings your now your 1 whole person, isn’t that what we are all searching for. Well this book gives us that.

I don’t know if it’s because I found the love of my life early but this book just speaks to me. Yes there is some heart breaking moments and some frustrating ones too. But that’s what makes this book so freaking great because the struggles these two go through to be with each other just makes it worth it in the end.

I don’t know if I am saying this right or not. God I hope I didn’t mess up the review because this book deserves all the stars it can get, everyone needs to read this beautifully written book.

I actually enjoyed the narration of this book, she sucks you in just as it did when I read it to myself. Happy I got it in audio!

Blaire Wynn & Rush Finlay - Book 2

Ok sooo we already know these characters so it’s a nice to dive right back into the story.
Half the book I wanted to spank Rush and the other half I wanted to shake Blaire.
Communication people!!

I do love the angst though. I like how you really get to know why Blaire is so open, it has so much to do with her mom and how she was raised.

Why Rush is so hard to trust, even if he loves with his whole heart he still has a hard time trusting. And that has a lot to do with his mom.

The break down Blaires father has, I was like finally we see he has a heart!
I also want to smother Bethy is hugs and kisses on her face so hard, I love that she was Blaire protector or pit bull as I wrote in my notes.

I can also say I was surprised Woods was so protective of Blaire as well. And what is going on with Grant? Hmm guess I will just have to move on to book 3 Oh yeah.. :D

Della Sloane & Woods Kerrington

I admit it… I bawled like a damn baby!! I forgot what happens in this book. I knew it was coming I just didn’t KNOW it was this book.

Wow, I loved this book.. Its HELLA HOT! Sad, amazing, heart wrenching, and painfully. But soooo worth reading.

Della really goes through true personal growth in this book, you can’t help but see and want to fight with her.
You might not agree with some of her choices but in the end you are right there with her cheering her on.

Woods oh to watch him struggle it’s hard sure; but in the end so worth everything he went through. When I first meet Woods in Blaire’s books I wasn’t a fan, but after these 2 books I am a huge WOODS fan! He is so Alpha, Strong willed, Strong minded, all rolled in to one incredible man.

What a shocking great addition to the Rosemary Beach Books. On to Grant I can’t wait he has a corner of my heart I will never give away.

I am flying through this series, as it goes on each book just gets better and better and better.

I remember this book from the first time I read it, but I forgot just how much this book has in it.
You have Krell who hates humans, and you have Cyan who loves Cyborgs so much that she risked her frail human life to help them flee from Earth.

Now that she is more machine than human, it’s not always easy for them to trust in who she really is. It’s a pretty fantastic book about learning to believe in what you can’t see but what you feel. Emotions are a messy thing but everyone has that gut instinct right.

This whole dynamic is fun to listen to, Mindy again does a phenomenal job. Loved it and can’t wait to listen to more!

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

What a way to end a series <3

This makes up for the last book. I know we don’t get Vlad again but we do a little bit, and yeah it makes me want to read his books next.

I don’t want to give anything away. So I am just going to say a little bit and be done.
This book has all the emotions, from happy to sad to heartbreak, but then we get furry, upset, and euphoria.

This book really takes you on a ride, think the only thing I wished was for Don to get his peace because he deserved it. Over all this is my second favorite book, the first is and will always be my favorite.

So if you’re wondering if you should read this one the answer is hell yes, it will end the series in a way it needed.

Favorite quote from this book is…

“I would never hurt you that way save for one reason; to keep you safe. I can live with your anger, your retribution bloody hell, despise me if you must, but don’t expect me to behave as though you aren’t the most important thing in my life. You are, and I will let no one, yourself included, bring you to harm.” – Bones

I already listened to these apparently back in 2014, and I can’t remember any of it. I mean by the end I have vague recollections lol, so this is all like new to me.

Kinda of nice really I feel like I am learning about the Chicagoland Vamps for the first time. I really am enjoying these characters. Merit is kinda awesome seriously she takes all this in stride. I like that she isn’t freaking out like a normal girl. She is learning as she goes.

The politics of it all is interesting too normally I get bored with all that but I am quiet interested.

Overall a great first book I am already into book 2.

I like the narrations too, which surprised me because I remember liking this narrator for another series but she had her flaws and I don’t see them in this which is promising for me to continue.

Ok, I thought I was starting to remember but nope its all like new. But things are heating up in Chicagoland for the vamps especially Merit she and her vampire have been at odds but I think they might be becoming one.

Her love life isn’t looking so hot but she just became the undead so I think she has time to figure that all out.

I do wish she and her bestie still had the same kind of relationship as before but it's feeling a little off too because of all the new changes.

This vampire that is threating everyone needs to be stopped and I think we will find out more in the book to come what she is planning.

Really enjoying the narration.
