The Midnight Club by Margot Harrison

This book is a trip into the past and the future. This book takes you on a journey between 4 friends who want to find answers. During this journey things fall apart but in the end everyone unites and they realize living in the present is more important than finding the answer they’ve all been looking for. MUST READ.

I will forever recommend this book to every book lover I know. I am so glad my friend recommended this book to me. Anxious people by Fredrik Backman demonstrates how important community is and how everyone has their own demons but if they join forces, lives can be changed for the better.

This was a random buy but I do not regret picking it up and learning about the struggles this young girl and her family experienced
All Things Bright and Beautiful by James Herriot

This book was given to me by one of the first veterinarians I ever worked for. He sadly passed away and I finally decided to read it. Having goals of being a veterinarian myself, this story shows the hardship and love you find on the farm and in their practice. This book demonstrates the growth of medicine and the beauty that comes with healing.
After She's Gone by Lisa Jackson

This was a random read from a donated pile of books. Thrillers have never been a genre that caught my attention, but this book did keep me guessing. The ending was not what I expected and I think the author captured that perfectly.
Lula Dean's Little Library of Banned Books by Kirsten Miller

MUST READ! This book is funny and also so real. A lot of what happened in this book is something we have experienced in the history of our time. I.e racism, politics, and the list of banned books.
