The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han

So I only read this because I wanted a book with Summer in the title for the @buddyreadbooknook Summer Bingo, but I actually ended up really enjoying it! It perfectly captured how it feels being a teenager (though it was a long time ago for me). All the emotions, heartbreak, and uncertainty that you feel whilst trying to figure out who you are! I liked Belly and felt her frustration while trying to find her place in the world whilst dealing with unrequited love! Definitely good if you want a quick read!

This has been in my TBR for a while, and then @nic_thebookworm picked this as one of my 12 in 12, so I thought it was about time I did, and I'm so glad it finally made it off my TBR!
It had me giggling the whole way through and also made me tear up a few times! I loved all the characters, especially Ron, as he had me laughing with some of his one-liners! It was super easy to read and had my guessing who done it the whole way through... and I didn't! The perfect cosy mystery, I can't wait to solve more mysteries with the Thursday Murder Club and can't wait to watch the film when it comes out!

This is the perfect read for the upcoming cosy season! Perfect for cuddling up with all the blankets and a giant tea or hot chocolate!
It has everything you want in a cosy mystery, a magic bookshop, talking rabbits and a giant cat, and a cast of amazing characters! I really liked Harper, and Thaddeus was the perfect bad guy, though Luna did steal the show a good few times!
The mystery kept you guessing the whole way through with some fab red herrings. I'm looking forward to more of this series!
If you love magic and cosy mystery, then cuddle up and visit Havenwood this autumn. You won't be disappointed!

I enjoy watching @rainbowhistoryclass on tiktok, so when I found this on audiable, I decided to give it a listen, and I'm glad I did! This is a really informative book looking at LGBTQ+ history. Some I already was aware of some I knew a little bit about, and I learnt some completely new things! I enjoyed how it gave both an overview of history periods as well as then introducing icons from them! Rudy is a brilliant narratiator and makes it really engaging! Both entertaining and informative, this is a great audiobook that I definitely recommend listening to!

The penultimate book in my reread of the Sookie Stackhouse Mysteries. I absolutely love this series and sad it's coming to an end! Again, this had everything I love about this series, mystery twists, and turns drama amazing characters! I'm both excited and sad to move on to the final book in this series!

I really enjoyed this one! It's a perfect, easy summer read! I really like Em and Jack and loved Lucy and Nancy ( I'm so excited they've got their own books, which I'm excited to check out!)
Overall, I enjoyed the storyline, though, for someone who has a love-hate relationship with the miscommunication trope, there were a few to many for my liking, though it didn't stop me from enjoying it!
Definitely one to pick up if you want a nice, easy summer read 😊

I've had this on my TBR for a while, and  I'm glad I finally read it!
This has great characters, stories, and spice. What more do you want? I loved Scarlett and Quinn, and wow, the tension between them was 🔥🔥🔥
This has some of my fave tropes, enemies to lovers, and  found family. It had some great twists and I can't wait to carry on the series, especially as book 2 is all about Stirling and Morrigan as I really liked them and excited for them to have there own book especially after the reveal at the end of the book!
