Notes on an Execution by Danya Kukafka

I've heard such great things about this book, so I decided to bump it up my list, and I'm glad I did!
I don't think I've ever quite read something like this before, and although it was a bit different then what i was expecting it enjoyed it and I loved the different POVs from Ansel counting down his final hours to hearing from those who had know him, and I loved the fact that this was indirectly such as his sister in law rather than his wife!
This book definitely makes you think about nature vs. nurture, and I found myself feeling sympathy for Ansel at times and then absolutely despising him at others as his. Although his past could be the reason he did what he did, it wasn't an excuse! Wow, that's quite deep for a book review! I did guess a few of the twists, but I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be recommending it!

So this isn't a book I would normally pick up, but as it came in @wordyandwild December box, I thought why not give it a go, and I'm so glad I did!
It did take me a little while to get into it, but once I did, I loved it ! It kept me guessing the whole way through who did it. I loved Maggie and how she grew and began to believe in herself, but oh my Ethan! He's funny, sweet, her number one fan, but also who did this, you and I will always find you vibes! This book did the miscommunication trope so well (she thinks he's being mean. He thinks it's a joke between them!)
I'll definitely be checking out more of Ally's books!

read and absolutely loved the Bright Falls series earlier this year, so of course, I had to read this. It's Christmas, after all!
When I started this, I wasn't convinced I would be rooting for Charlotte and Brighton to reunite, but boy, was I wrong! The tension between them was amazing, and as you learnt about their pasts. There was so much growth, and they actually spoke about their problems! I loved that this also touched on friendships and family relationships as well as romance! I loved the side characters in this and course. The spice was spicing! A fab romance for the festive period!

I read The C*ck Down the Block earlier this month and absolutely loved it, so of course, I had to read this Christmas prequel novella! I liked getting to know Mac and Sarah and how they met and getting a sneak peak at the characters when they were younger! It was fun, and of course, Sir Honksalot stole the show. This series is so fun and I can't wait till read more of it!

So this series definitely seems to be a bit hit and miss, and this was another one that was just OK. I liked Nina and William, and the spice was good once they realised they both liked each other, but I don't think there's much more to say!

This is a super cute quick Christmas novella (I read it in an hour cuddled up in bed!)
Hayley is so good at writing the found family trope! I really liked Liv and Natalie, and their friendship and their Christmas Pact list sounded so fun!

So this was a super cute yet spicy Christmas read, and I really enjoyed it! I really liked Storee and grew to love Cole (I was annoyed by why he disliked Sloane so much!) I loved the tension between them both and the spice was spicing (though the Candy Cane wasn't as bad as I was expecting!)
The Kringle competition was super cute, and I loved the Grinch inspired poems at the beginning of each chapter!

I've added lots of Meghan's other books to my TBR and I'm super excited to that she'll be doing a home alone inspired booked next Christmas with Max as the star as the show as he was definitely my favourite so I'm excited to see more of him!

I've seen mixed things about this one, but if Tessa writes it, I'm gonna read it!  And do you know what? I really enjoyed it again, I listened to the audiobook and the narratiator for Luke 🔥🔥🔥 I loved his voice!
This has everything you expect from Tessa. It's fun with fab likeable characters and, of course, top-notch spice!
I would definitely give this a read, but I am a massive Tessa fan girl!
