I love a book that tells a story in a meandery way, which this one does well, for the most part. However, the pace of part four is so different from the rest of the book that it just ended up feeling uneven.

I know there are several other books in the series, but I'm going to stop with this one and pretend that Claire and Jamie end up having a lovely, happy life together and die of old age in each other's arms the end yay!

The book is looooooong and all the doin' it eventually got tiresome. But! I am kind of in love with Jamie, I think?
