I'm not entirely sure I'll stick with this rating but for now I don't think it's a 4 star. I honestly just didn't feel very connected to the characters. In the Inheritance Games trilogy I was very quickly connected to the characters, but I didn't really connect with any of these characters. That's not to say I didn't like them though. I like Dean the most #teamdean. Michael is alright just depends on the scene. Lia is a bit annoying sometimes. And Sloane just really wasn't focused on that much. As for Cassie she was just kinda distant which is weird considering it's in her pov. This definitely was an interesting story and although I wasn't super connected to it, I still got excited to read it again. I'll definitely continue the series and hopefully it gets better.
never once expected it to be Locke but also it made so much sense after we got her motives. Even before we got her motives everything else added up.

It only took me a day to read this and not because it's good but because it's so bad I can't put it down. Conrad and Belly I just can't with them they're both so immature. I don't get why it's so hard for Conrad to just say how he feels and stop trying to be all tough about it because literally nobody wants him to be that way. The overall plot of this book I mean it took place over only a few days so not that much really happened. I enjoyed the exploration of grief and that's about all I could say good about the plot. The only reason this isn't rated lower is because of that plot point and Jeremiah. If she doesn't end up with Jeremiah, Conrad must have some major character development.  Oh and Taylor? Why in the world is Belly friends with her. All Taylor does is boss Belly around and try to dismiss Belly's grief over someone who was like a mother to her. What kind of person does that

This is almost a 3 and really the only reason for that is because the ending finally fixed all the problems America has been putting off fixing for the entire series. But even then things could've wrapped up better. I didn't really like this book that much tbh but I also don't really like this series that much

I really want to go to Martha's Vineyard now. I really enjoyed this. The characters were amazing. I loved the family and farm aspect. The game of Assassin was very fun too. I enjoyed that the conflicts were pretty realistic and resolved realistically as well. I also thought the ending was very well done. It showed how much Mer really grew. I'm excited to read more books by this author

This is one of those things where it's so bad and cringey and silly that I don't want to put it down. Conrad is such a jerk. Belly is pretty annoying. Cam is meh. Steven is annoying. Jeremiah is fun and sweet for the most part. And both Laurel and Susannah were pretty good. I will say I very easily predicted the whole sad ending but I mean that's to be expected. Will read the rest of the series just because it's easy mindless fun

I actually really like how this time loop was done because it made me really think about how this would ever be possible. I also like how the way they had to get out of the loop wasn't super basic and overused in other books/movies. I love Miles so so so much. Definitely one of my favorite book boyfriends. I really love shy characters who slowly open up and become more comfortable with the other characters. Also helps that he's really smart. I enjoy that the 3rd act conflict didn't go on too long and she forgave him and understood why he did what he did because it's definitely a tough situation for him to be in.
the ending when he didn't remember her was sad even though I knew the book most likely wouldn't end with him not remembering. Him remembering was a very sweet scene though like the way he finally said Barrett? Did it work? awwjwhrhdh
This is the second Rachel Lynn Solomon book I've read and I've enjoyed them both, so I'll probably read more of hers.

This is the best novella so far because I love Marlee and Carter. And also because you can really see Maxon trying to be better than his father. Also don't know if I was supposed to read part 2 before reading the 3rd book or not because it kinda spoiled some things but at the same time it's not really anything I didn't see coming
