I can't believe I'm having to say goodbye to Rorick and Quiet 😢
I'm truly gonna miss them. Yet again S.L.Prater has delivered.
Twisty plot, awesome side kicks, endearing love, banter and lots of sass. 🤍👏🏼

I do not care for clowns or spiders as in I'll scream when I see either.
But somehow she made me love both and I kinda want my own Anita now. Definitely want my own Gilbert. 😁

It's a gothic romance mixed with suspense and humor. Absolutely recommend it! 🤍

I loved these books but found the ending to be really disappointing tbh. 🙈 It's a bit like... That's it?

I loved the cute nicknames <3
I truly liked the characters, the mmc's and fmc. It was a bit of slow burn for as far as that's possible in a short book but once the gates were open, they were opennnn. And it became a bit too much 'just' spice for me by the end, that's why it's not a 4 stars 🤗

Did not finish book. Stopped at 75%.
Nothing happened .
It took to long.
Too little explanation about the big secret to keep me interested.
Might try another time. Book two is supposed to be the best

I'd give more stars if I could honestly. I loved the humor, the silly things like when they were buying the gift for the governor. The funny and cute moments caused by neither of them knowing little about the other species. I was constantly going between trusting and not trusting people. And the spice.. the tension that is built between them pfewwww yes please. The airplane scene was so good. Getting his pov without getting his pov chapters. It was a different writing style and it took a little to get used to. but  DAMN I'm so glad that I did! 'Cus I would have wanted to miss this!  🤤😍

I read this one after Give me more and in comparison it felt a little soft 😅 I recommend reading this one first, it'll be more enjoyed imo. Think I'd given it more stars then tbh. 🫣

I had a little trouble getting into it. Wendy's rambling felt hackled to me but damn am I glad I ''pushed through'' those first few pages. (honestly wasn't so hard, so hence the " " 😅)
I've read the never king a while back and at first I thought this was going to be similar but noooope. Being the same fairytale it still felt fresh and new. And I loved every single minute of it! In tantly bought the second and third book. Can't wait to see what happend next 🤓😚

Gods I fall more and more in love with this world with every book I read from this series. I just love how these two fit together in their whims and flaws.
Loved seeing some familiar names and I so so wished I could get my own room in the Gilded Boot and would absolutely die to get a familiar 🥰🤓
Not saying the name but next to Iso this familiar is my favorite sidekick 😁
I'm very happy to have been an arc reader again and I'm leaving this review voluntarily 🤓
