I think if you like vampires, history and you like reading about exotic, historic places, then you will like this book. There were some chapters that I thought were pretty boring, but the book picked up the pace once the characters closed in on their hunt for Vlad Dracula.

I liked the story, but was very disappointed about the way the writer focused on the cold case that was never solved. I don't know if it will come up again in a sequel, but I was really interested in what happened to those kids and it was disappointing to be left hanging.

I found myself cheering for the children all throughout the book! Hard to imagine living the way they did.

Loved this story! Very heartwarming and one that could be read year-round to keep us in the "Christmas Spirit."

This book reminded me a lot of Angry Housewives Eating Bon Bons. Each chapter focused on a member of the Cookie Club and featured a recipe of the cookies she brought. It was a pretty fast and easy read.

This was a quick, easy read and not really what I was expecting. There was a little romance, a little suspense and a lot of focus on relationships. I liked it.

I really enjoyed reading the stories behind some of the best-loved Christmas carols and how they written with the intent of spreading their faith. I had no idea so many of them were written many years ago and the authors never lived to see how popular their songs became.
This is a good book to read during the Christmas season, as each chapter is about a song and they are fairly short, so easy to fit into a busy schedule.

I could not put this book down, once I got to know all the characters. I was cheering for Hugh to succeed despite the obstacles and so happy to see some of the characters finally get what they deserved.
