I enjoyed reading "Hester" even though I found some aspects a bit far-fetched. I liked the ending, which is surprising because if I had known at the beginning where Hester would end up later in life, I would have never understood why.

I know I'm a litttle slow to the game, but I couldn't put this book down, once Katniss and Peeta got to the arena. I'm still not sure about who I want her love interest to be??? I guess I'll have to read the second book to find out what happens!

I read this book several years ago and it really had an impact! Worth reading more than once.

Enjoyed this book just as much as THE HUNGER GAMES. I thought it ended a bit abruptly, so I was forced to pick up the third book and start reading! LOL

Loved it! Was on the edge of my seat throughout the entire book, just wondering what would happen next. I thought the ending was a bit sad, but after all they had been through, it was fitting.

I had a tough time reading this at the beginning. The second chapter jumped forward several years and it seemed there was no connection. I kept reading and I am so glad I did. Child 44 is full of suspense and surprises! By the time I was mid-way through, I could not put it down.

This was a quick read and a great feel-good story, even though some aspects of it were a bit difficullt to believe. I liked most of the characters and I liked the book's message about passing kindness on to others.

It was about what I expected. Drugs, sex, rock & roll and rehab....
