Pippa is a hard-working woman who has lost her confidence. Jamie doesn’t necessarily give it back to her but he helps her find it on her own. Pippa is thoughtful, one-of-a-kind sweet person.

Jamie is selfless to his own detriment. He takes the burden of everything and wants to make everything right for everyone in his life. He was unnecessarily rude sometimes but his sweet and loving side that came out when he truly cared was amazing. He was possessive and jealous - but not in toxic kind of way.

The characters had an instant attraction to each other but the insta-love/love was executed really well where it didn’t feel unnatural or forced.

I absolutely love how Klein was so compassionate and confident in his feelings of Paisley. He didn’t try to hide them at all, he was honest and said such amazing things about her. I loved their communication with each other in general, they were both very open and honest with each other. I also loved how Klein corrected his own thoughts about what Paisley told him - he just went ”no, that was shitty”.

I love how one person didn’t open up more than the other. They exchanged information with each other on a very respectful way - and didn’t push if it wasn’t the moment.

I don’t know if I felt it brought something new but I enjoyed my time. I was a bit disappointed with the spice though. I thought I would get more kinky stuff.

Beck was controlling and dishonest. Margo was creative and witty. I really liked how Margo kind of put Beck in his place and kept being a bit of a brat throughout the book. I did however love how determined Margo was in the end of the book, she was making things happen for herself.

I wish Margo would’ve acted differently when the plot twist came to light. She said she wanted a chance to figure things out - what was true, not true - but she didn’t. She kind of just went ”this has to be wrong, because our love is so true”, which is bullshit.

So far, my favorite parts of this book is the moments between Ford and Cora…
I do wish we got to know Rosie’s character more, and Ford’s to be honest. We were told through the characters how their different childhoods effected them, but I wished it had been explored more and talked about more.
I really liked this book but it didn’t give me the ’wow’ feeling.

I loved reading about the Chinese culture and their stories. But to me this just kind of meh/ok. There are a lot of description about this damn mooncake which at lengths I found boring.

I liked this! My favorite so far.
I do however feel like it wasn’t realistic that Josh was allowed to slip-up again so quick, but I don’t know. I feel like if his counselor was any good they would have seen through Josh’s bullshit.

I liked Grayson’s and Sam’s individual plot lines, kind of meh on their romance plot line.
