The Blood of Olympus by Rick Riordan

I was glad about the Reyna-Nico-Hedge plot line. I feel like their part is sometimes forgotten. They are such an important trio.
This is such a fantastic world which I never want to leave. The characters feels like my actual friends. I wish we got more scenes with the characters just hanging out and having fun together.
The stories Neva come more detailed and longer, while retaining the excellent writing with that said, my favourite series definitely is the original series - Percy Jackson & The Olympians.

This book is bloody amazing! Can't believe that so many things happen in just one book! My love for these characters just keep getting bigger and landing deeper in my heart. In the romance department, Percabeth is going strong and becoming stronger. I have however lost respect for how Jason handled the Piper-Reyna situation. Leading both on and only having the talk about who he wants to be with, with one of them.
I do love reading about Nico. I want his perspective more and more! His character is so deep and if anyone out there doesn’t love him - go away, shut up, you’re wrong.
Highlights:
- Nico opening up
- Nico being accepted
- Bob & Small Bob
- Annabeth and Percy kicking ass together
- Nico talking positively about Percy to Bob
- Leo and Calypso
- Coach Hedge
- Reyna believing in Annabeth
- Reyna and Nico

The Mark of Athena by Rick Riordan

I realise I have forgotten majority of what this book was about. I basically only remembered the beginning when Percy and Annabeth reunite at Camp Jupiter. I stand by that their reunion is one of the most important parts of this book and entire series!
I didn’t remember what a small part of the book is actually Annabeth finding Athena Parthenos. I’m kind of sad it wasn’t a bigger part of the book. I did like how the characters all kind of came together more and more as the story progressed.
Surprising? Unsurprising? I’m kind of back to being ”meh” about Jason and Piper… They are fine as their own characters and in the first book. But once you start to see them around the other characters? They’re…meh.
I am SUPER EXCITED for the next one though. If you know you know!

The Son of Neptune by Rick Riordan

Son of Neptune is one of the most serious books in the Percy Jackson universe. The trio is amazing. Percy, Hazel and Frank simply stole my heart for a second time. They are all selfless and beautifully flawed, it’s impossible to not love them from page one.
While I don’t really care that much for the Roman camp or their mythology compared to the Greek one it’s fun to read the difference. Camp Half-Blood is basically a hippie camp compared to Camp Jupiter. I don’t like how much trash talk the Romans do.
What I loved:
- I have missed Percy's sense of humor, it’s amazing
- Annabeth never giving up on Percy, no word of him for over 7 months and she is still searching for him
- Percy remembering Annabeth even after having a goddess take his memory, his love for her is literally that strong
- Percy - one of the greatest demigods of all time - who defeated the great titan Lord, who were offered to be turned into a GOD but turned it down for love is JELOUS of Frank's shape shifting powers?
- Hazel going from being appalled by the idea of being close to Frank, to loving him
- Frank accepting and never once doubting Hazel and her goodness
- Nico taking Hazel away from the underworld and giving her a new chance at life

The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan

As a reread this was better than the first time. First time around I didn’t really care for this story - mostly because Percy Jackson wasn’t in it - but knowing the characters now helped make this story special for me.
Leo is still my favorite in this group and he needs to protected at all costs. I appreciate Jason’s character way more this time around. I appreciated Jason more for what he is and not for what he wasn’t (Percy) as a reread. I also like Piper way more in this book then before. She strong, caring, cool and funny.
As a reread, this book is nostalgia for me and the rating is *kind of* based on that as well. Although, this book is great and won’t be hearing slander from anyone but me!

I liked this book, however there wasn’t a whole lot of action which I missed. I was almost right about the mystery though so I feel good about myself and my clever brain.
I really liked how this book focused on Dean and his story. I find Dean’s story the most interesting and I loved reading and understanding his character more with this book. This book did make me more intrigued about Michael and Lias’s stories though. We do need to talk about Lia in this book. I can understand her emotions and she is only a teenager but that does not make what she said right or okay on any level.

I don’t quite know how to explain the plot, which in my view, it’s not a good thing. I really liked Matt as a character, and I liked Lane. The characters together made sense and their personalities.
One thing I really didn’t like about this book is how agoraphobia was represented. I feel like it was more represented as social anxiety more than anything. However, I liked how Lane’s character evolved towards the end and her standing up for what was best for her.

The romance felt in some ways too fast because halfway-through they were basically together, however I wouldn’t say that the author dragged out the second half of the book.
I didn’t like Warren being forceful the first time they had sex, and asking Chloe to sit on his face. That was not something that they had talked about!

Älskade jävla unge by Pernilla Pernsjö
4.5
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

Not in Love by Ali Hazelwood

🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️.5(considerable with descriptive)
I think Rue might be one of Ali Hazelwood’s characters I relate to the most. She was awkward around other people and preferred her own company, but she also had people around her that accepted her for who she was - and I loved that!
I liked the workplace plot line, it was really interesting. And I liked the ending once their relationship developed more of an emotional connection. The spice overshadowed the plot, but I also knew going in this was erotic romance.
