Angel finally gets his story, and is doesn't disappoint. He is such a unique character that you cannot He fall in love with him. He has this effect on everyone he meets. This book has hidden secrets and the more you discover the more you understand why Mikhail is like he is. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Heath by R.M. Neill

Heath is such a special character, he is like a breath of fresh air. To talk about Heath, I need to talk about Jeff. Almost a love triangle, but fear not, Jeff is a peacock who is just very attached to Heath. The patience and understanding Heath shows all of the animals, gives you all the info you need. He makes friends easily, but misses the social cues. Marko watches Heath from his shop window everyday, until he decides to approach him. Their story goes from there and with some time together confusions are ironed out and Heath gets clarity with his sexuality. A slow burn, but it wouldn't work as a story otherwise. A great Christmas novella, with all the tropes what need; Snowed in, one bed and your best friend's dad. I knew I would love it. The characters were so loveable and it was fun to witness Triston tease Dax with his outfits and other shenanigans.  This is the first book I have read with pearling and I did have to google it to get a picture in my mind. The intimate scenes are so well written, you almost feel, see and taste everything, as they explore one another, makes it a nice steamy read. This book is packed full of emotion and the epilogue struck a personal chord with me and made the book so special. Happy tears at the end. A real sweet story. I loved Cal and Zeke together, they were both such gentle souls. There care for the horses was so special. There was angst due to Cal's past, but nothing between these two. A slow burn was needed because Zeke gets a bi-awakening and needs time to process and understand. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This is book 3 in the Boys of Hudson Burrow and I'm finding them different to Hayden's usual style. They are very deep, meaningful stories, the characters have a lot going on under the surface. This story is when different worlds collide, but underneath the worlds are really very similar. Zain has been a character in the background and now he gets his turn. He is quiet and knows he can't be who he truly is, so hides in the shadows scared to be honest with himself and his family. Having found out that his family is in debt to a powerful man he takes responsibility and finds himself working for the man. Dominic is more than wealthy and successful but he learnt the hard way about loyalty and family values. He tries to keep away from Zain, for his sake, but Zain discovers who and what he wants and Dominic doesn't stand a chance. It is a slow burn, and low steam, which fits  experience of Zain. A deep story, with a happy Christmassy ending. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This is a gentle romance story, Kerry and Keegan clearly have mutual attraction to one another but both are holding back due to their pasts. They have a lot of help from friends and family to get them together. Sven is hilarious and a brilliant character. This story is part of a series, but it had a different vibe, a softer story with low steam and slow burn. Can't wait to continue the series. A forbidden romance, because Gregor is Felix' professor and also Gregor has a secret sideline job. He wants to be anonymous and is still grieving from his past. Felix is not what he expected and after coming to his rescue he just can't stay away.  There is turmoil, Gregor is trying to keep himself away from feelings and Felix is falling fast and wants more. There is a light D/s vibe, but this wasn't strong. The story mainly revolves around these two but there are a few extra characters. I never fully trusted Felix' friend, Mark. I felt I needed a bit more depth to figure out if he was genuinely concerned about Felix or jealous. Gregor never did meet him when he was with Felix so the stories told by Mark remained one sided. The epilogue leaves a HFN, with a slight feeling of uncertainty as location and jobs change and only a loose plan is discussed. The Roommate Situation by Felicity Snow

We first meet Rory at his most vulnerable, he arrives home and learns the truth about his boyfriend. Full gaslighting continues until his friends persuade him to go out for a night. This is his first encounter with Parker and it doesn't end as well as it should. With Rory suddenly in need of a new room he goes to have a look at one available and you wouldn't believe who his roommate is going to be! Parker is such a sweetheart, there is instant attraction berween the two but he can see Rory needs time. There is intimacy, early on between these two, but they do take things slowly. The silky underwear always adds a very seductive element to a book and it is absolutely Parker's undoing. These two men become an item before they really realise, they just slotted together so well. A cute epilogue that brings a happy closure to the story.  I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Swoon, swoon and more swooning. This book is so gorgeous.  I loved both men in this book, they had both been hurt before but once Ash convinced Jack he was safe with him there was no stopping this romance.
Jack is a horse riding rancher and fits the brief perfectly. Ruggedly handsome, tough when working but with a softness and gentle nature that he keeps hidden well.
There isn't a great deal of angst, these two create harmony. We watch Jack believe in love again and how he can trust to open his heart and not have it broken. I can't wait for Jack's brothers to get their happy stories. The epilogue jumps 3 years and these two are still as happy as the day they found each other, if not even more so. Sometimes you just need a simple love story and this hit the spot. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

A second chance story for two men who obviously never stopped loving one another. We join them as they prepare to spend a weekend together in their jointly owned cabin to pack up and sell their remaining string tieing them together. What could possibly happen when the chickens predict heavy snow and there's unfinished business. Of course it isn't jumping straight back into things, neither wants to talk about the elephant in the room: that they both still love and want one another. Turns out second time around you can be 100% truthful, even the deep rooted feelings need to come out this time so everything is laid out. Marsh needs to stop hiding behind his comedy and learn that he can be vulnerable.
There is maturity to the book, this is expected with having had a pre existing relationship but also their roles as a couple are well defined. Data is the practical one, who can deal with a broken window and chopping fire wood, Marsh is the homemaker, making the warm meals for them both. These two men have a domesticated chicken and a snow storm to thank for their rekindled relationship and they had a big trip down memory lane. The end is a whirlwind of happiness and I loved how Data helped with Marsh's dad. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
