Cute, light read.

I wish it had explained more in depth how time travel works.

I liked the protagonists but to me they were a bit childish, the whole tone of the book was like that.

Although I wish the characters were more fleshed out, their voices more mature and the science explained better, I liked the tone of the story. It's not a standalone and that's another thing I didn't like. It doesn't end in a cliffhanger but has some things left unresolved.

Overall I liked the aventure and the lightheartedness of the story.

I will continue to read the series.

This graphic novel is about an investigation on a town where 16 serial killers were born. It's interesting and I liked the artwork. I didn't give it 4 stars because it doesn't end, it has a cliffhanger and I hate that, but I will definitely continue with the series.

I liked this book, it was interesting, intriguing and fast paced.

I haven't read any of Thoft's novels before, and I enjoyed her writing style a lot. I didn't have any difficulty in reading this, there's clearly references to her previous novels, but I wasn't confused or felt I needed more background information than the ones this book provided. I'm now interested in reading the other books of the series and her next one.

I liked Fina a lot, she is badass without being more rude than her job requires her to be. I find her views of romantic relationships a bit cliche, but that didn't bother me too much.

Overall, this was a great mystery, entertaining and interesting. I recommend it.

I liked this one a lot.

There are things that bothered me like the love Mary has for Reeve because it's cringe worthy, but
Spoiler after knowing she's a ghost, I can understand it
.

I don't like that now Reeve is supposed to be a bad guy with a heart of gold, I know people aren't black or white, but I guess I need more background on him to understand his douchy attitude.

Now I do understand Mary's rage and her need for revenge.
SpoilerI wasn't on board with the whole paranormal aspect of this novel mainly because it felt like an afterthought, something that doesn't organically fit within the story. To me the supernatural things that happened were too little and too sparse. All of that changed 80% into the book when I realized Mary's dead, Oh My God!!!.

I was entertained and intrigued the whole time. I liked the characters (except Mary at first). It's a fun, light read and I loved the ending. I'm hooked, ready for the next one.

3 stars but I'm taking off half a star because of the ending, so 2.5/5

I liked this book mainly because I love revenge stories. I wish in the real world bad people got what they deserve, but sadly that almost never happens and one can't get really even without getting arrested, so I satiate my thirst of justice through books and movies.

For me this book was fun and a page turner, I admit the bad things the villains do, to me, aren't that bad, they're just typical teenage behavior. All the revenge stuff the girls do are too softcore to me too (except the last one). Maybe is because I'm too old for this book, it's YA after all. But overall I enjoyed this.

I took half a star because of two things, a weird
Spoiler supernatural
aspect that came out of nowhere and the fact the book doesn't end and has a cliffhanger, I really hate that.
Spoiler It gave me a Carrie vibe.
I will read the second one because now I have to know what happens since the story ends abruptly.

I enjoyed this novel very much, I read it in two days, two!! That doesn't happen very often unless is a graphic novel or an audiobook, so this is a testament of how much I liked it.

I hadn't liked Mary before but now I understand her (I still don't like her). But I loved the parts with her. After all I read it for the revenge aspect of it. She was full of rage and that didn't let her see clearly.

Reeve's story came full circle, I still think he isn't a good guy but at least I felt sorry for him. He was a bully but he did suffer (I think all bullies do suffer), and I appreciate that we got his perspective, it was too little in my opinion but at least we got something. The characters were gray, like real people and they acted like the teenagers they are. I didn't like Lillia because of her indecision and her need to please everyone.
Spoiler All of the sudden she likes Alex too?, Her great love for Reeve was brought up by grief over Rennie's? What? That's not true, that feeling was there before all that and the way it was constructed seemed real to me, that's why I didn't like them trying to blame it on Rennie's death.
Kat grew so much and I liked how her story wrapped up. I didn't like how Rennie's character was handled, she was a bully, selfish, vindictive and mostly not a good person.
Spoiler She didn't deserve to die for that
, and all of the sudden everybody forgot her actions, even Kat. I didn't expect her to hate her
Spoiler or be happy she died
, but I didn't understand her heartbreak, at least with that intensity.
Spoiler I also think Rennie's closest friends forgot about her too soon. The were at parties and celebrating in less than a month. I don't understand that.

I still think the supernatural aspect could've been handled better. I consider myself to be an expert, I've been watching supernatural for twelve seasons after all!.
Spoiler I chuckled when I saw them put salt in the window XD. I consider Mary to be a vengeful spirit and she acted accordingly, again, my knowledge comes from supernatural. I needed more information on the paranormal things happening. I wish we could've seen more of Mary 's aunt and her side of the story. I was sad that she will remain in the asylum since Mary's mother will never know the truth about Mary.

I gave it 3.5 because too many things were left hanging and I didn't like Lilia's arc.
Spoiler The dog died.
They didn't explore anything about Mary killing Rennie.
Mary's aunt and mother, what happened to them?, her aunt is going to be at the asylum forever?
Why couldn't Lillia be with Reeve after all they've been through? I can understand that in the future the may not end up together, but right after the events of this book there wasn't anything keeping them apart, it doesn't makes sense.
I didn't like that Alex ended up with Lillia, to me she didn't deserve him.

Overall I liked it, it was fast and light. I give 3.5/5 stars to the trilogy. I recommend it.
