Update: Initially, I decided to dnf this book because I wanted to read something of a higher priority and also because to me, this book wa a little dry (at least in the beginning). But then I read a review stating that it was like reading the script of a beloved 90s/early 2000s romcom, and I couldn't stop thinking about it that way since. So, I picked it up again and immediately started picturing Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks in another Nora Ephron classic, with dialogue (between Beth and Jennifer) very Gilmore Girls-esque. And I couldn't stop reading and I couldn't stop picturing this 90s rom com potential film that should definitely happen. And I didn't stop until the very end when I closed the book (actually, more like closed iBooks) and sat back in my chair and sighed, a complete mush of feelings in me.
I'm not joking when I say I need a film. Right now.

There was nothing that I did not like about this book, which is a rarity for me. It's a simple, sweet, innocent tale of friends. Nothing too extraordinary. And yet, it's just the kind of book to read during any season. It could be the warm mug hot chocolate you have with your best friend during the relentless winters. Or it could be your favourite popsicle in the summer while you share jokes on the rooftop. It's that warm, happy feeling inside you.
