I really enjoyed this book, I liked how it focused more on friendship and platonic love than romantic love (there is still romance which I really loved) as its told from the povs of the two female main characters, i loved seeing them reconnecting and learning to trust each other again

I really enjoyed the found family vibes and all the characters in this are so fun and unique

This book definitely takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions of will they wont they save the camp (no spoilers but the ending is so good)

- summer camp setting
- second chance friendships
- camp crushes to lovers
- dual pov, first person

I loved this book, it was the perfect combination of some of my fave tropes/plotlines so i ate it up

- childhood friends to strangers to lovers
- fake dating / pretending to date to get good media attention
- brothers best friend
- secret relationship (tbf its only really a secret from the brother that they’re actually together and not just faking for the public)
- sports romance (pro hockey)
- baker fmc (idk why but i love books where someones a baker/chef etc its just so good every time)
- no 3rd act break up!!!
- dual pov, first persom
- duet narration

I listened to this and loved the narrators and thought they did a great job

Fun and fast paced!

I really liked the second chance aspect of this story after their one night stand after both having years long crushes on each other but never acting on it

This is a pretty fast paced story, the first 25% or so covers a 7 year span and you get to see the highlights of their lives

One thing I wasnt a huge fan of is how the spice, for the most part, goes from zero to one hundred and back to zero so quickly, like there wasnt any real build up to it

I also never really felt the emotional connection between the main characters, they said they loved each other and had for years but I never felt it as they seemed to spend majority of the time arguing

- boss x PA
- one night stand
- accidental pregnancy
- billionaire romance
- single mum
- ‘its always been you’ vibes
- dual pov, first person

Thank you to the author and her team for the ARC - all opinions are my own

Overall I enjoyed this book, it took me a little while to get invested in the relationship, its a bit of a slow burn/takes a while for the romance to really start

I loved the dual timeline and seeing chapters of their relationship over the years and them falling in love whilst growing up

I really loved the setting of the ranch and resort, I thought it was really cute and described in the best way that I could picture it

- ‘its always been you’ vibes
- slow burn
- dual timeline
- cowboy romance
- montana ranch and resort setting

Thank you to Montlake and NetGalley for the ARC - all opinions are my own

I really enjoyed this and flew through it, I can see why its a booktok favourite

- YA
- senior year in high school
- next door neighbour
- childhood friends
- she asks him to help her get another guy
- romcom obsessed FMC

I loved watching the FMC go from finding the MMC really annoying to becoming friends to falling in love with him, I was routing for them to get together and for her to finally make a move.

I did find the FMC a little annoying at times when she wouldnt talk about any issues slash her thoughts and feelings with those around her, but then I remembered its a YA book so totally normal for that age
