Fun and fast paced!

I really liked the second chance aspect of this story after their one night stand after both having years long crushes on each other but never acting on it

This is a pretty fast paced story, the first 25% or so covers a 7 year span and you get to see the highlights of their lives

One thing I wasnt a huge fan of is how the spice, for the most part, goes from zero to one hundred and back to zero so quickly, like there wasnt any real build up to it

I also never really felt the emotional connection between the main characters, they said they loved each other and had for years but I never felt it as they seemed to spend majority of the time arguing

- boss x PA
- one night stand
- accidental pregnancy
- billionaire romance
- single mum
- ‘its always been you’ vibes
- dual pov, first person

Thank you to the author and her team for the ARC - all opinions are my own

Overall I enjoyed this book, it took me a little while to get invested in the relationship, its a bit of a slow burn/takes a while for the romance to really start

I loved the dual timeline and seeing chapters of their relationship over the years and them falling in love whilst growing up

I really loved the setting of the ranch and resort, I thought it was really cute and described in the best way that I could picture it

- ‘its always been you’ vibes
- slow burn
- dual timeline
- cowboy romance
- montana ranch and resort setting

Thank you to Montlake and NetGalley for the ARC - all opinions are my own

I really enjoyed this and flew through it, I can see why its a booktok favourite

- YA
- senior year in high school
- next door neighbour
- childhood friends
- she asks him to help her get another guy
- romcom obsessed FMC

I loved watching the FMC go from finding the MMC really annoying to becoming friends to falling in love with him, I was routing for them to get together and for her to finally make a move.

I did find the FMC a little annoying at times when she wouldnt talk about any issues slash her thoughts and feelings with those around her, but then I remembered its a YA book so totally normal for that age

I really loved this book and the narrators were so good

Rory is so different from how I thought he would be from what we saw in the first book in the series, I was slightly nervous that he'd be a d!ck but he was the complete opposite and so head over heals for Hazel

I'm a sucker for fake dating romance, especially ones that never feel fake at all and that's the case with this one

I love how supportive they were of each other and trusted each other at the end and that there wasn't any unnecessary conflict

I really enjoyed both the narrators and thought they did a great job, also love that this is duet narration too!

- fake dating that never feels fake
- pro hockey
- she was his tutor in high school
- forced proximity
- no third act break up

I really enjoyed this, it was such a cute, spicy story

I'm a sucker for childhood friends to lovers and snowed in with only one bed so no surprise that I loved this

- childhood friends to lovers
- snowed in
- only one bed
- accidental pregnancy
- co-workers

I got a little annoyed at the FMC not listening to the MMC and sticking to what she believed he wanted instead of what he actually wanted to do, it was a slightly irritating conflict. However the conflict resolution was really cute and kinda made up for it

I was more invested in the plot and how everything would play out than the actual relationship (I'm normally the other way round)

The relationship between the two main characters is kept a secret up until the third act conflict due to the male main character being engaged to someone else, as previously mentioned I was definitely more invested in the plot and seeing how things would play out (with coming out with their relationship, him breaking up his engagement) and I did enjoy it

I didn't fully buy into the relationship between the main characters, it felt a lot more lust and physical attraction than love and really knowing each other to me

- sports romance (tennis)
- tennis player x private chef
- sneaking around
- forced proximity
- cheating

Thank you to NetGalley and Hera books for the ARC - all opinions are my own

I really enjoyed this

Idk what they put in these duet/full cast narration short audible original audio books but they're all (from the ones I've listened to) just a great time

I loved the radio setting and how we got chapters of just their shows and how we got to live through all the match making and awkward moments between the main characters together

I also enjoyed the historical Welsh legends about love and the FMCs family history around love and match making and the MMCs family story with love, it added a great depth to the story

- radio show co-hosts
- match making
- set in 1999
- Welsh American FMC x Aussie MMC
- duet/full cast narration

I adored this book and love Hannahs writing

I love the story that we went on with Lane and Matt, I love that even tho its single pov you could feel all the love that Matt had for Lane, and I really enjoyed seeing all the work that Lane put into being in a good mental space again to be fully with Matt despite her fears

I found the start a little slow imo and it took me a while to get fully into it (hence the 4.75 star rating)

- bisexual FMC
- POC - Samoan x Canadian MMC
- friends with benefits / this can be nothing more than sex
- road trip
- only one bed
