I loved this book, I devoured it, it was so addicting

I thought there was a perfect balance of great spice, that Sierra and Julie are known for, and plot

I really enjoyed all the various plot lines - the researching of the Christmas Notch miracle, finding a new muse, finding love after loss. I thought they all came together so well and in an enjoyable way.

I love that you got to see previous couples from this series at several points and you got to see Teddy Ray Fletcher get his happy ending

- previous one night stand
- roommates with benefits
- bisexual main characters
- recluse musician
- plus sized FMC

CW: previous death of wife (for MMC) and previous death of parents (for FMC)

I really enjoyed this book!

I love the pranks they played on each other and how fun they were

I love that even when they claimed to hate each other you could tell that they never really did and how much they cared of each other

I love Sarah's writing and this book is such a joy to read

- forced proximity
- hate to love
- best friends brother
- single pregnancy

This was a good read

I enjoyed the storyline however I didn't feel emotionally connected with the characters which means I didn't love it

I enjoyed the forbidden-ish aspect to it and the tension building before they finally gave into their feelings for each other

- friends to lovers
- foster siblings (from early teens)
- sports romance - pro hockey
- first person / dual pov
- dual timeline

I initially struggled to get into this book, slow burns aren't my fave and also I got a bit frustrated at both of them for liking each other but not wanting to risk their friendship

However when things started to happen I thought it was really cute and I love how supportive they are of each other

The friendship group in this book/series is so lovely I love all the characters

- friends to lovers
- slow burn
- single dad
- brothers best friend

Really enjoyed this one!

The last 6/7 chapters were so good and I wasn't sure how it was going to end but I'm glad it ended in a good way

There was lots of drama and I felt like I needed a lie down at the end

Overall I enjoyed this book and had a good time reading it

I really enjoyed the story and the writing style

However a big thing for me is that I didn't really feel the romance or any connection between the main characters

- co-workers (ish - she starts a new job and he helps train her)
- enemies to lovers (they didn't like each other in high school)
- set around Christmas

Thank you to NetGalley, Afterglow / Mills and Boon for the ARC - all opinions are my own
