This has to be one of my favorite retellings of a classic. The ending was a great parallel!

What my night consisted of: running from Star Tours to Space Mountain like I was 12 again, eating churros with my sister while we watched Mickey and Pluto play fetch, and Simon and Baz domestic goodness! It was a perfect night!

This book was so overwhelming whenever I was reminded that this is not only a reality that happened to Conley, but it is also the reality of so many people. It reminds me how fortunate I am to have a family that has always loved and supported me. It reminds me that so many are not as lucky, and I have to be as mindful and sensitive of that as I can possibly be.

Bought this book back in like March, but I’m glad I waited until Vengeful was out to read this! Delayed gratification who?

Really enjoyed this book but maybe not as much as the first?

A fictional future that feels almost too realistic for comfort.

I love how all of Jackson’s stories build this suspense until the very last moment, so when you’re finished all you can do is sit there slack-jawed for a minute. Also the dry humor in this would be appreciated by many a millennial.
