Overall a great story, spice level perfect. It just became a bit repetitive in the middle with the back and forth insecurities. Then, the end felt rushed.

This book was a delightful read. When the MFC it's in danger, the MMC volunteers to be her bodyguard. They had a relationship years ago and it was never resolved, so what better why to take care of all this mess? Create a fake engagement of course. But like all the best romances, the lines blurred rather quickly and the feelings became real.
This second chance story is full of character and emotion. The author lovingly told their story for us to understand their heartache. Great tale.

You are floating in the ocean, relaxed, at peace, in subspace... And suddenly you are bitten, what a rude awakening. And thus the tale starts. This cute romantasy had all the feels to make it enjoyable. A caring MMC, body positivity, enough adventure to go on a quest, it was super entertaining. Two souls healing each other and learning to be a couple. This author puts such care on her characters, I could imagine every freckle and line on their faces. Very vivid imagination . Loved it. All the footnotes,  breaking the fourth wall were brilliant. These are probably my favorite feature of this book.

This author gives generational trauma a whole new meaning. The characters in this story are two souls who cannot communicate and end up with a broken heart. We learn if they can make back together older and wiser.

This sweet novel is a breath of fresh air in a saturated sapphic romance literature. The author uses her characters to portray human and flawed individuals who grow and progress throughout the course of the story. I have a deep appreciation of authors who tell tales of everyday life worries and joys. This author delivers. I will read other works by this author.

He's a famous tennis player, coming back to the circuit after taking a break when he lost his wife. She desperately needs a job and a place to stay. He hires her and in spite of himself feels insta-lust.
Read this book if you like second chance at romance, age gap, single dad, witty banter and an adorable little girl. My only issue with it is where she's just coming out of teenagehood to be this serious right away. Not a deal breaker.
This book is a fresh debut story with brilliant writing.

This is a tale of the second chance at romance that never was. Giselle and Jude are former classmates who as adults reconnect and fake date. Her boyfriend, who was a key player on why they didn't connect back then,  decides to unceremoniously dump her because she's not sophisticated enough. The author weaves a tale of blurring the lines and learning to be what should've been years ago.
Both characters have issues to resolve, and we get to see their growth in the story. The way they finally realize they are meant for each other is written beautifully, although there was a bit of angst. If you liked Legally Blond or 13 going on 30, this is your book.
