When I first spotted this book, I was not quite sure I'd like it as I'm not in the mood for sports romances, yet, this story was captivating. It helped that the sport was soccer. They come together when he needs a babysitter and she's available. Over time, they start to learn about each other and we get an excellent love story. Her brother is his best friend, but said brother has possessive and protective tendencies due to trauma in their past. She learns to set healthy boundaries with her controlling brother who has good  intentions. The sport ended up playing a very small part of the story, focusing more in the aspect of their relationship and that of both of them with his little girl. If you like broody single dad, age gap, best friend's sister, low angst, and he falls first, hard, stories this is your book.

Carys and Gannon's story is probably my favorite Brewer tale. She takes care of plants and she is interested in expanding her busin
ess. Gannon hires her and the story starts. However, he's had feelings for her for a long time in spite of their age gap, but stayed away because she's his brother's best friend. We learn how she doesn't know how to deal with family members and throughout the story we see her learn how to cope. There's a little bit of angst due to those family relationships, the author handled it with care and gave us a fantastic ending. The love story was very well written.
If you like grumpy but cinnamon roll vs sunshine stories, he falls first, little angst, no third act breakup, this book is for you.

This book is about three people who are wandering life alone in the world. When they find each other, sparks fly in all directions. This is a well written polyamorous relationship book that has a plot with appropriate spice and a bit of Shibari. What first caught my eye to consider reading this book was the spice mentioned on blurbs, but the plot is brilliant and it is what made me devour this book in one sitting. The characters themselves use dialogue to explain different gender situations and I find that refreshing as I am often confused with the terms. This author took care of teaching us through her character’s POV, because they didn't know themselves. If you are looking for a minimal angst, second chance, no third break up romance book, this is for you.

I read the audiobook and Gary Furlong's voice narrated this book beautifully. Each character has their own intonation and hearing their POV is the best part.

A quick novella based on The Beauty and The Beast, where the beast is more beastly but not who you think it is.
There's a hint of supernatural elements complimenting the story really well.
If you like your men broody but soft, this book is for you.
The spice, spices, quickly.

This story is a delightful read of second chances and mutual pining. Due to not having truthful conversations, Mari decides to accept getting married to a man who is not the one who she's loved for years. Javi for his part, has decided to finally declare his love only to find out that maybe it's a little too late. More than When Harry Met Sally, this book had My Best Friend’s Wedding vibes, or maybe both. The author takes on a journey from when they first meet to the present. This book made me giggle in some situations. It was a tad longer than it should've been where some passages didn't add anything new to the story. The resolution felt a bit rushed exactly because we spent time on things that were mentioned before. Nonetheless, I recommend this book to fans of friends to lovers, witty banter, and constant timeline shifts stories. I have read other books by Mia Sosa and it is just as good.

This very short novella is pack full of feelings. You have three Irish men who think they'll never going to meet their partner and then on the other side of the world is their destined Omega. I thought this story benefitted from Amy's knowledge of South American customs. The trauma these people overcame to be together deserved a longer book. Still, I think Amy condensed the key points of the tale and gave us an enjoyable read. If you are into angst heavy omegaverse books, this is for you.

Not my cup of tea. Still I appreciate how much care there was developing the back story for these characters. How we get to know they why of their present behaviour. While spicy, it does not take over the story. If you are into alpha mafia heroes, mafia princess with a damsel in distress aura, this book is for you. It has enough intrigue and plot, and twists to pass the time.

Overall a great story, spice level perfect. It just became a bit repetitive in the middle with the back and forth insecurities. Then, the end felt rushed.
