This book took me on an emotional rollercoaster! I loved it but hated it all the same. It literally broke my heart.

Autumn and Finn have known each other since birth. They were inseparable. But then life and cliques happen and they grow apart. You go through all of their high school years of their lives. You’ll meet their friends. You will go through and emotional life with Autumn. She deals with the ups and downs of her parents lives. She oddly has an obsession with Tiaras. She goes through ups and downs of dating the same guy. She and Finn aren’t close but do not hate each other. But you see how she goes through adolescence and deals with mental health issues. Clearly, her mental health is something she has inherited from her mother.

I do feel that for some this book could have used Trigger Warnings. I am not easily triggered, but mental health is discussed and dealt with so much through this. There’s depression and discussions of eating disorders. And there is attempted suicide discussed in it. At one point it is almost vividly mentioned.

This book has some girth to it! And every bit of that girth is absolutely AMAZING! I have only read some of this author’s work, the LOSERS series, and I have to say this is so much better. It is a work of art! I got a cold while reading it, so it took me longer to finish. But once I felt better and picked it back up, I could not put it down until I had finished it! To say that I devoured this book is an understatement. It has magic. It has demons. It has Gods. It has mythical creatures. It has romance. It has ghosts. It has a cult. It has spice! It was just such a great story. This author delivered! I cannot wait to read the next book in this trilogy. And if you haven’t read the rerelease bonus chapter, IT IS A MUST! I laughed and cried through this book. I highly recommend it!

This was a fun little spicy read. I’m giving it four stars because it had an actual story and equal spice. I was hesitant to read this because so many dark romance novellas tend to be all spice and no story. But this one is perfectly done. I look forward to reading more from this author.

This book is beautifully written. It will make you fall in love with Death, not dying but death itself. Lillith is depressed after being in a car accident with her parents and her twin sister. She survived. They didn’t. Death met her that day and he becomes obsessed and in love with her. She is his soul mate. She thinks she is going crazy. She is trying to hold it together with a dead end job that barely makes her any money and a fiancé who has since become a major jerk since the accident. He’s staying with her to take what little money she makes to blow it on drugs. And I’m pretty sure he’s cheating on her. But the story goes with her trying to sort out if Death is real or an hallucination. Either way she’s falling in love.

I absolutely loved this one more than the first one! It’s basically the first book but this time you’re getting Juniper and Zane’s story. And you’re getting much more details in this one about things that happened before book one. And you get to know deeper things that happened that you were unsure of in the first book. I will say that Zane and Juniper’s love is just so much better than Rae and Leon’s. I absolutely cannot wait for the next book!

I was so lucky to get this arc copy in a PR box from this author. I have truly enjoyed this series so much. It is hands down the best series that I have ever read. For the longest, the first book of the series was my favorite. But, that changed with this book! I had so much going on while I read it, so I read it pretty slow. It helped me through those times. It is so beautifully written. Rhea is even more amazing in this book! She’s gaining her powers and no one is going to stand in her way. She totally blossoms through this book. And you will fall even more in love with the story of Rhea and Hermes! This book will take you on an emotional roller coaster for sure! I screamed at the end of the last chapter! Then again at the epilogue! I need the next book as soon as possible!!

Okay, the third book is officially my favorite. I was getting annoyed with how needy both of the male leads were being, but it got better as I read. If you read my previous review, I was team Kaz. Well, that changed more and more with each chapter. I am now team Ruslan! The story is building up so much more with each book. And now I am ready for book four! The cliffhanger really got me at the end! I still love that there are multiple points of views through this book. In the beginning you really only get two in book one. Book two has a few more. This one though gives you the insight to other characters and what is going on in their minds. You see so many torn as you are as you read. There’s so many twists and turns that you don’t know who you should be routing for with this series. I love it!

I got to say, I do not understand the bad reviews at all. Especially the DNF ones. Many of the questions they had would have been answered later in the book. I actually really enjoyed this book. It took me longer to read because of life situations, otherwise I would have finished much faster. The story hooked me in the first chapter. The questions I had about Izadora and her childhood were there, but were finally answered towards the end of the book. I love how the author gave such details on everything, from the surroundings to the fabric used to make her gowns later on. I also loved how she let you really get to know the side characters. In many books you really only know their names, but you had many one on one opportunities to know them as they trained Izadora during their time traveling. The ending was totally wow! And for the first time in a review, I’m leaving a spoiler! The only part in the book I was a tad confused about, was that I thought Kazimer was killed, but it turned out to be his father. I may have missed something. I was so deep into the book. As soon as I finished, I went to my bookshelf to grab the second book to start. I love a good dark fantasy!
